Last fall, my mom’s a/c wasn’t cooling her house. Called another business, service person stated her unit was leaking and couldn’t be repaired. Estimate to replacement unit was $11,000. Fast forward to this week, we decided to get another opinion and/or estimate. Called Alternative Heating and Air, they were able to come out quickly. Tom, the owner stated that the unit most likely has a pinhole leak and that others would say it’s not repairable but it is. Long story short, they were able to stop the leak and refill the coolant for $750. My mom’s on a fixed budget and while it was still $750, much more doable than $11,000. My mom stated Tom was super friendly, he even cleaned ac unit, replaced the filters and even helped my mom set her thermostat!! Thank You Alternative Heating & Air!!

I am so impressed with Alternative Heating and Air! We had them out to repair the HVAC unit on a rental. From the first phone call to the final handshake, this company was top notch! Tom was able to diagnose the problems and quickly fix the issues. They are very upfront about pricing and provide outstanding value and service! I definitely recommend their services!!!!

They installed my heater quite a few years ago. I had an issue with it this year and Tom came right away to take care of it. I felt like I was catching up with an old friend as he walked in and he took care of everything. If you’re looking for a trustworthy HVAC contractor that won’t give you the run around and make sure he does everything he can to fix your unit this is the company to do it. All around excellent service!!! The technicians, Tom and Edwin, thoroughly explained what needed to be done. Tom gave me some diy options which didn't make me feel pressured to use his service. I appreciated his honesty and transparency. They now have a new loyal customer. I will definitely recommend them to my family and friends!

Our heater stopped working in the middle of a cold spell. I called and in less than 8 hours it was fixed. Great cost for labor, and tech. was responsive, friendly, and masked. Will use again.
