Look no further, this is the only company you should use for any heating and air issues!!!! I had another company come out and look at my HVAC unit that was not putting out any heat. They had told me I needed to put in a while new unit, in the amount of $8,500, because the control board was bad and the part was not available anymore. I then had Alternative come out for a second opinion, in the hopes of maybe getting a slightly lower price on a new unit. They came out and within one hour had figured out the real problem and fixed it!!! So instead of having to buy a new $8,500 unit, I only had to pay $89 for the service!!!! The most honest and reliable company ever!! I will never use anyone else ever and neither should you!!!

They were awesome. I would recommend them to anyone! And have recommended them to family and friends . They were very nice and on time, clean and did the work needed and Did Not over charge. Our heating and air unit hasn't ran this well in a very long time. Thank you Alterative heating and air.

A.C. went out last night & called the next morning at 8am. They had Tom come out just after 1pm same day & in less than 30 mins he had found the problem & fixed the faulty wires & checked everything else out just in case! Tom is awesome & we will definitely be reccomending this company to our friends.

The best. In an industry, like many, that has the ability to take advantage of people they are a refreshing alternative. They are honest and talented which I think are the two most important attributes you could wish for when having someone diagnose and repair your issues. They've always done right by me. Great service with an emphasis on quality and value. Very friendly and professional technicians. Installed a new condenser and serviced our 30 year old system 4 years ago and still going strong.

Service! Service! Service! These guys are professional and have figured out that integrity and word of satisfied mouth will get them more business than selling people things they don't really need or can't afford.
They explain things to you. I like that.
But best of all, they show up when they say they will! Not everyone does that.
They really ARE the "Alternative" to the others!

It's the middle of August in Chico. My AC quits. I call Alternative Heating and Air at 6:00 p.m. Tom shows up before noon the next day and fixes it. Although my system is going on 15 years old he does not try to sell me a new on. I'm all in with this company.

Called Alternative Heating & Air for a second quote. They came in lower and were able to complete the repair the next day. Will use them again!
