Highly recommended! We use Decker Brothers at Laguna Creek Apartments in Elk Grove, CA, they have always came out in a reasonable time frame for service. Every time we have an A/C issue in one of our apartments, Christy who takes my calls, has amazing customer service, and has always been very kind and friendly. She also follows up with us to insure everything is OK after the visits. Jordan the A/C tech has great knowledge of what he is doing, has a professional attitude, and is kind to the residents as well as the office staff. Again, I cant say enough on how much we appreciate the staff at Decker Brothers for their hard work and kindness.

I have this company for HVAC. I had a home warranty and they dragged there behinds. The girls in the office work really hard to get everything done. People need to realize when dealing with a home warranty Decker Brothers staff can only do so much with out the home warranty approving anything. I stayed in touch with my home warranty to make sure they are doing there job so Decker Brothers can do there’s. While reading some other reviews customers need to realize that they are the ones that hold the policy with the home warranty. It is their responsibility to keep in contact with the home warranty.

Had issues with my central heating unit. Decker Brothers was assigned by my Home Warranty company. They showed up quickly, diagnosed the issue (which required a control board replacement) - they were able to purchase the replacement part and come within 2 days to fix everything. Very grateful for the work they've done as we didn't have heating for a few days with 45F temperatures at night.

Real Estate Appointment Service

Buyer beware! They were great with getting out there right away to bid and collect a deposit but 2 months out to do the job We had a patio cover installed in May of 2021 and there were several issues with the installation. It took at least 10 phone calls and 3 visits for them to correct the issues. Installation was to include full installation of 3 ceiling fans on the patio cover. The installer installed the fans without even asking where we wanted them located. They looked horrible. They had to come out again and move everything. Fast forward to April 2022. The electrical to the fans/lights no longer work. I called 8 times and left messages with no return call, emailed them 4 times with no response and texted their text only number twice with no response. I started documenting everything at this point in case we ended up in court. Finally about 2 weeks later someone answered the phone and assured me it would be taken care of and tranferred me to the scheduler, Bethany. Bethany must be a hired relative because I think anyone else would have fired her along time ago. After she explained to me how busy they are(I could care less) she stated that she does not have the schedule for next week yet and will call me the following week once she had the schedule And that they could only schedule if they happen to be in the area. That never happened. By now it is mid June. I call the following week and talked to helpful Bethany again and she said that she would have to schedule us on a day when they are in the area and would call me that Friday to put me on the schedule for the following week. She never called. I called back again on Monday and she then told me she hasn't done the schedule yet but she will call me the next day. That never happened so I called at the end of the day on Tuesday. She said they could come July 5th and they will call early morning to tell us the time. They were a no show. So I called to find out what happened and she said we never had an appt that day but they could come on Thursday. Another no show. Between myself and my husband we have called at least 20 times. I don't know how they stay in business with their horrible customer service , follow up failures and not standing behind their warranty. We still have 3 non working fan /lights at the time we really need them. Thank you Decker Brothers for your great care of a paying customer who will no longer give you referrals. You're too busy for any new Business anyway.

Family owned small business with great service! The detail for our job was quick and painless, installers were on time, very polite, wore masks, cleaned up all trash they brought / unpacked and took our old unit (we had a water heater replaced). Very friendly and hassle free, would absolutely recommend.

I have had the Pleasure of working with Decker brothers construction for over two years now at our business and currently my home. This company works with integrity, honor and pride. Striving with only one goal in mind, and that is to make their customers happy. Today I had a patio cover installed in my own home, to say I am extremely happy with the outcome is an understatement. My awning is absolutely fabulous, the colors match my house beautifully...not to mention that the job was done perfectly! Whether you need work done for your heating and air-conditioning or patio covers, you do not want to have any other company to do the work for you except Decker brothers construction. I strongly recommend this company for any home or business. Saying Thank you is not nearly enough to extend my gratitude for the amazing job that you have done. I applaude you and your amazing crew, I will continue to recommend you to anyone and everyone I know... thank you John and Joe Decker along with your amazing staff❤️

Last year in July this company, to include John Decker himself, came out to service our air conditioning unit through our home warranty company. The home warranty covered the recharging of our unit but we paid additional to have it cleaned and serviced as to make it more efficient and last longer.

Less than a year later we turned on our air conditioner and it did not work. We called the Home Warranty company and they sent the same company out.

The first visit was at the end of the day (5pm) on a Friday. Basically, even if they figured out the problem it would have been too late for them to call the Home Warranty company to get the needed approval for repair. The technician said that he couldn't do anything because the Home Warranty company would require him to put sealant into the unit to recharge it and he could not reach them at that time to get approval. The tech told me that I could pay out of my own pocket to have coolant added to the unit though. During the final phone call of the day with the Decker office, their scheduler told me the next available opening to continue the service was the following Wednesday.

On Tuesday morning I called to find out if there was any way they could move the service up because I was at home recovering from a surgery and needed air conditioning. John Decker got on the phone and explain to me that they have a lot of calls and they could not schedule me sooner. He also told me that they do not even use sealant anymore. So basically what the tech told me the previous Friday was completely wrong and was a waste of a trip

On that Wednesday morning I called the Decker company to get a better idea of what time they would be out. Even though the window was from 1 to 5 p.m. the scheduler told me that the tech would probably be there by 2. I stressed to her he needed to be there as soon as possible so he could call the Home Warranty company and get approval for whatever repairs needed to be done. The tech arrived at almost 5 p.m. again. He troubleshot the system and once again could not proceed without approval from the Home Warranty company which by that time was closed again.

I told the tech that I would contact his office the next morning to find out what was going to be done and that we would most likely not be using their company again. I called and left a message at the Decker company to have someone call me back first thing the next morning to resolve the issue. I did not receive a call and I eventually ended up calling them.

Once again I was passed off to John Decker who again tried to dismiss the issue about scheduling and could not understand what I was trying to tell him about needing someone to be there earlier in the day in case the Home Warranty company needed to be contacted for approval. He told me that there are other warranty companies that are open later and sometimes can be contacted after hours. That's great for those companies but my home warranty company is not part of that group, which I told them prior to this point.

Ultimately, if you need a company who uses good business practices, efficient communication and common sense to resolve issues, I WOULD NOT recommend using this company!!!

Terrible experience with this company! I was given a quote is $10,000 to have a patio built in my backyard. Once I was given the quote the first question I asked was if it could be done at the end of May because I was having an event at my house in early June and really needed it done. The owner told me that they were booked in May but that he could commit to early June (June 5-7). I agreed, signed the contract, and paid the 10% deposit. When I hadn't heard anything by the end of May, I called his office to see what day and time they would be here. The person I talked to said "No one called you.?" I told her that no one had. She said that they were overbooked and that it would be another 3 weeks to one month before they could get to me. I was upset and asked to talk to the owner she said she would have him call me. After a few days I called back and told her that I could wait that long due to my event (like I told them in the beginning). I asked for my deposit back and she told me that I couldn't get my deposit back since I was cancelling! Wait, I'm cancelling? They just told me they overbooked and couldn't do it??? Bottom line, not only do they keep my deposit I also owe them another $1000!! The office manager told me to read the fine print, they can take as long as they want or keep my deposit whichever they prefer. I told her that the owner told me verbally that he could commit to that time frame and that I would be writing a bad review. She was very rude and told me to go ahead and write one. Apparently once they get your money they no longer care about you or your opinions. This is the first time I've ever written a bad review for a company but BEWARE!

Decker Bros Const provided prompt, courteous and expert service. After experiencing a stressful, long and potentially expensive experience with a different company, Lea from Decker Bros called me quickly and was very kind and sent technicians within a couple of hours. Levi and Donald arrived, listened to my layman's explanation of my furnace problem, got busy fixing the problem and were finished within the hour with no additional costs to me. I will definitely call Decker Bros Const in the future with any heating or a/c problems, they treated me with kindness and respect and I felt valued as a customer.

The staff at Decker Brothers has been great. They installed a patio cover for me and it looks wonderful! The crew was very professional and kept me informed throughout the entire process from start to finish. I would absolutely recommend.
