From an installation perspective they did a good job. I did have to go with lower grade efficiency panel than what I bought. They said due to supply and they gave me an extra panel.

The issue I have had is communication. I call in for service on a failed inverter and the office says they will call you back and don't. You have to keep calling. Solar Edge warranty time is ridiculous. I will credit ABCO for coming out and putting in a lower power inverter to get me by, but this was after 2 months of not receiving my 2nd warranty replacement and me calling in asking for an alternative.

Currently my issue again is communication. When they installed the new inverter to fix the one that went bad the modem card would not fit in the new one and they had to get another one. That was 3 months ago!! I have sent several emails an NO RESPONSE. So I can not monitor my system and they state they monitor your system to notify you of outages which can not be done. I also would not count on them notifying you as I found my bad inverter after it was down for 1-2 days and they did not notify me!

Update: they installed another inverter they had (lower kw) until my inverter arrived from supplier. That at least got me back working again and greatly appreciated.

So far I've only had ABCO out and they provided a preliminary estimate for a mini-split for a new casita we're building. I was very impressed by Linden's professionalism and efforts to understand my specific needs before offering a solution. It was clear that he was also trying to find me the most cost-effective solution while still ensuring that I'd be happy with the system. He came out within a day and showed up on time. He provided me with a preliminary estimate that looked pretty good and I look forward to seeing his final bid very soon.

I want to be clear that I'm not talking bad about the installer- he did a fantastic job BY HIMSELF. We were told a day and time for the start. No call no show. The job took days longer than it should have and it started late every day. For the owner- if you're going to promise dates and times- keep them because people have jobs and lives to plan around. And maybe hire more people instead of sending one poor guy to do it all by himself.
