Great job installing a 3 ton split system in our house. Unfortunately the tech did not follow any of the recommended procedures for start up. Hopefully we do not have any problems as a result.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Technicians who installed our unit did a horrible job. 3 years later and the unit failed requiring $1,500 in repairs. Bad wiring, outdated parts, incomplete installation.

Jaycox saved the day. I flew down to help my mom with some Dr. appointments. It was 90 degrees in her side of the house. They were there at 7:30 in the morning and had the AC unit fixed in under an hour. I could not be happier with the services and how much they cared about helping my moms house get cool.

Our 35 Year-old unit finally decided to quit on us, so we contacted Jaycox who had been servicing our unit for several years. We met with Bob who explained our options and gave his recommendations. The installation done by Tony and his partner was excellent even touching up the seal in areas not their concern!

I would definitely recommend JayCox! When our AC went out on a friday night, they were the only local service that answered our call and scheduled a tech for first thing in the morning. The tech was on time, professional and serviced the issue without problem. The cost for the service was fair and we are very pleased!

Grate staff and grate technicians. Been using jaycox for last 20 years family owned and operated. They come out twice a year for service and I never had any problems with any of there technicians. They have always been fair with there pricing and have never tried to sell me anything that I have never needed. I am writing this review because I recently redered Jaycox to a close friend of mine that had 2 other companies at her home and both had told her she need a new a/c. Jaycox sent one of there technicians down and found out it was just a bad capacitor. They replaced the capacitor and got her cooling. They told her that her system was working good and just because it was a 16 year old unit does not mean it needs replaced. They are truly a one of a kind d a/c company and will always recommend Jaycox to any one that is having any issues.

I have contracted preventative maintenance with Jaycox for at least 12 years. They are reliable, prompt and charge reasonable prices. When I have needed repairs, they are responsive and competent to meet the challenge.

Our business with Jaycox started with an APS 'Advanced AC Tune-Up' where the company is listed as an authorized contractor and fairly close to our home in Goodyear.

We knew we had had an issue with one of the units on our home (the home has two). But we didn't think much of it or tell the representative. The tech did end up arriving late, but called to tell us that he would and why (He had left his tablet charging at work before coming and that tied with his gadgets as part of the analysis)

During his testing he did a little work on the first to balance and improve its operation. He had cool test gear and actually understood how HVAC worked (I'm former Navy and used to maintain very large units and chuckle a little when I hear a technician explain how the cycle works).

When he got to the second unit he immediately found that it was 2 lbs low on R-22. (R-22 is obsolete and getting more expensive each year right now... and if you home is 10 years old it is probably what you have). he immediately stopped doing the expensive 'Advanced AC tune-up' and didn't charge us for that aspect. We had a quick discussion of options; new cooling coil, leak tight (?), new unit; then we got on the phone with the office which mentioned that R-22 refrigerant was going away.

Immediately had a conversation with the sales guy about a new unit. Over a day of some different negotiations, decided to buy new and (because of our solar install) go with SEER 14 (minimum) TRANE unit.

We asked them to also send the guy that corrects/designs installs of full systems out to look for poorly design vent piping; we were sure we had some; and they may one minor recommendation for a correction.

Friday, 5-6-16, the new unit was installed. They arrived right at 6am, as authorized. Three guys, very professional the whole time. worked hard from then until about 3 pm. It rained that afternoon, cooling the outside air below 70F where they don't want to balance the AC. ~They said the first technician would be scheduled to come out to tune the new AC.

So far, I am extremely happy with every aspect of the dealings with Jaycox and have already recommended them to a friend. We knew that we had an issue the year before with this unit, so moving from balancing to replacement, while $!$, wasn't a shock. And they gave us options. We could have spent $4k less to install a new coil; but the cost of refrigerant is only going up and we imagined having an issue with both the same year.... decision made!

OK, Way more words than normal for me. Enough to say, I found my West Valley AC company and I hope I continue to feel this way into the future.

5-25-2016 update: Today they came by and did, as part of our installation, a whole home pressurization and system balancing. They really didn't even explain they would be doing this. I understand this drives business at some level; but they neither sell windows or insulation. Nice. ~Thanks Jaycox.
