I called Morehart after seeing how respectful one of their employees was at a gas station a couple of months back, and I'm glad I did. Morehart was great, they got someone right out. John, our tech, arrived on time, was super friendly, and very thorough and knowledgeable. As a first time homeowner, I was hesitant to call anyone for an AC inspection after hearing stories, but John's service was so awesome, and Morehart was so responsive, that I will absolutely be using them for all of my HVAC and AC needs in the future. A big thank you to Morehart for hiring great employees!

My Air handler had a bad drain line and was leaking water onto my ceiling which caused a lot of drywall damage. I called Morehart out to fix the problem. The technician wrapped some electrical tape around the drain line and a brace to increase the slope of the drain. ( a totally unprofessional fix.) they then charged me $350 for the repair. I had someone come out and repair the ceiling and then I had it painted. the total repair cost me $800. several weeks later the unit began to leak again destroying the new ceiling. I went into the attic, cut the drain and reglued it in 20 minutes. It has not leaked since. I complained to Morehart about the poor quality of their repair and they agreed to refund my money. Hi have requested a check from Mayley several times, they told me its in the mail twice over several months, but I have never received a refund to this day.

2022 Update: Tom Greene was sent to our home after we called because our home was heating up rather than cooling and we experienced loud whistling and whirring noises coming from the AC unit in our attic. An Expert in his area and able to thoroughly explain mechanical problems that even a dummy can understand. Tom not only found the leak in the line but he really inspected the entire unit to include the installation design to let us know how we can continue to keep our home at a comfortable temperature and also have sound/healthy HVAC unit. If we have to call on Morehart for repairs again we will always request that it be Tom who services our unit.

We built our home in 2014/15; it was Josh Morehart who designed and had our HVAC installed. We found the pricing fair and reasonable. And we’ve had no problems hearing or cooling out home.
We also contracted with Morehart to do our yearly maintenance. They are always prompt and they do a great job. John Sturgeon is the tech who has recently been servicing our unit; he is the most polite and personable representative of the company that we have dealt with…other than his father Brian, who has also in the past serviced our HVAC. We have had a couple other technicians from Morehart come out and like John and Brian, they all have been thorough, professional, knowledgeable and friendly.

Thomas was awesome! He got out to us in under 45 minutes after hours and was able to diagnose the issue within 30! Mayley was super sweet on the phone and communicating with us while she worked on getting Thomas out to us. So grateful we use such an awesome company for our HVAC issues.

Tom was hands down the best technician I have ever had the pleasure of working with. We had a nightmare scenario with the A/C and he showed me and my family a ton of empathy and got us back up and running. Very prompt service they were at my place in less than an hour of my call. I would say this was one of the best experiences I’ve had with any company not just a/c companies. I highly recommend doing business with morehart they certainly deserve it based on my experience.

Most professional AC experience in 38 years of owning homes. They were able to get our system up and cooling within 14 hours of first contact. Every other AC vendor told us 10-14 days to get to us. We were told by the vendor who installed the unit we had no warranty at all. Morhart tech Brain was able to determine we actually had 10 years of parts warranty. That saved us $250. Our system was repaired and blowing cold air 30 minutes after arrival. I would highly recommend Morehart for any repair in your home. We will be using them for our yearly system review.

Very Pushy to sell new unit.

They were very responsive and came out after hours on a Friday to look at our AC unit. (Only reason for 2 stars rather than 1)

Guy spent less than 20 minutes on the roof and told us we were very low on Freon and with the price of Freon, it'd be better to invest in a new unit. He said charging the system with Freon would easily be $3000.

He proceeded to get us a quote for a 4 ton Goodman HVAC unit at $9000. And then offered to run is through financing. They said it wasn't worth looking into Freon filling as it's so pricey. They also told us they had no idea how big the unit on the roof was as it had no tags and that the replacement had to a 4 ton to be adequate.

We payed the $90 service fee and said we'd get a second opinion. (I am actually questioning what they fee even was for at this time.)

Overnight with two kids in Phoenix summer with barely working ac was painfully difficult.

A different company showed up at 6am and took pictures of 1-2 inch thick ice EVERYWHERE on the inside of the unit. ( The first rep should have noticed this and should have known that you can't get accurate readings if it's iced up...) After defrosting the unit and spraying off the bird feathers, dust, grime and mess on the grates and coils, the Freon readings actually show we have full Freon. Thanks to competitor that was honest we have a working AC for us and the kids. And we will be investing in the coming months for a new unit. (A new 4 ton Goodman as of June 2022 should run about 7k installed...not almost 10k) (And if he had taken the time to open the unit and look around, there was a serial number and it's actually a 3.5 ton...4 ton is a smart upgrade but I wonder what he really even did besides try to move straight to sales.)

The Morehart guy, while polite and responsive didn't take the time to defrost the unit in order to get an accurate Freon reading... He moved like a car salesman... directly to pushing sales..

Had the ac go out last night 8/17 called this morning they were able to get someone out this morning. John the technician had the diagnostic and repair done within the hour. A+ service will be setting up regular service with them
