to be straight up and honest, these guys have a reputation for selling you stuff you don't need. had them go over to the house of more than one freind and tell them that the sky would fall if they did not replace their whole systems at the cost of thousands. in one case, it turned out to be a leaking dielectric gasket that was a total cost of about 50 cents and mayb1/2 hour labor. the system described here was only 4 or 5 years old and not even due for replacement!! this is a dishonest practice and a widespread reputation of these guys in the plumbing community of anchorage.

Good service, very professional and very reasonably priced. Called on off hours and asked them to call next morning - which they did. Was able to set up an appointment and got the work done promptly. Will be using again! Thanks guys!

Mountain Mechanical did a great job fixing our leaky pipe! Curtis was there right when they said he would be, fixed the leak quickly, and charged us less than I thought it would be.

I had used them many years ago, as Mountain View Mechanical. I reported them to BBB, but Mt View Mechanical, never responded. They had said I needed hundreds dollars of repair done. I got someone else to come out and I didn't need them done,..So beware. They just changed their name.

I recommend to anyone. Super professional and knowledgeable. Came over the same day that the hot water heater went out and replaced it quickly.

called at 8:45 in the morning, I called again at 10:30, 2:30, at 3:40 I was told the driver had problem with the van and would not be able to come but they would get another repairman.........I waited and waited, never got a call at 4:40 I called again and was told they would not be able to come today........at a minimum they should let me know they were not coming .....o well, very difficult to recommend Mtn Mech. to anyone, terrible service from the office.
