Sound Mechanical

Called sound Mechanical to have a shut off valve installed. Spoke to Jake who got us in the next day. Jesse was here on time and couldn’t have been any nicer or more efficient. Great company. I will recommend them to anyone who needs a plumber.

I don't usually write reviews but after reading some of the negative ones I thought it was important to put in one from my perspective. I called Jake after getting quotes from several companies. He was professional and came out right when I needed him. I am selling my home and I needed to have the hot water heater replaced due to its age. His employee Jesse was very polite and efficient and went the extra mile. I own a rental property and will be calling these folks for all of our pluming/HVAC needs. Thank you Jake and Jesse!

My names Tony and I dont usually write reviews but we were soo pleased with the repair and the people, I contacted Jake and to let him know I appreciated Jessie's ( the tech that came out) professionalism, the initial greeting, having patience with the questions not making us feel like hes in a rush and just haveing a positive attitude it made our day better, and same goes with jake ,great first impression and experience meeting both of them, that your company will be on our to go guy business for friends and family! I've used Sound Mechanical three times now and every time they do an amazing job and it's always very quick too, everyone is very professional and knowledgeable. They are very affordable compared to others in Anchorage. Highly recommended!

They were able to squeeze me in the same day to fix a pin hole leak. They fixed it in about an hour or so. I would definitely call them again

I had called Jacob at Sound Mechanical because I heard water dripping underneath the floor in my kitchen in the crawl space. I made the call around 7am and explained over the phone what I heard and was concerned that a pipe had burst or sprung a leak. Jacob responded that they had a full day of scheduled appointments but would send someone over as soon as they had met the needs of there previously scheduled appointments.He mentioned I would receive a call from one of the employees as soon as they became free. I went to my office and was Pleasantly surprised with a call around the noon hour. The said they could be at my house within a half hour. I went home and the plumber was there 10 minutes earlier than expected. I explained what was happening and showed where the crawl space access was. Within 30 minutes the plumber was completely done and the leak was found and repaired with explanation of what he had found. Problem solved! I have refereed Sound plumbing to multiple friends prior to this repair that I personally needed. All of them praised and thanked me for referring Sound plumbing to them and said they will be using them for all there plumbing needs! We are all happy satisfied customers. The Sound Mechanical team plummed an addition to our home in Eagle River. They had to come back and tie in to the main house after finish work was completed.
They just finished up and everything is running great. The team was very professional. Would highly recommend. They have pretty much done it all on this job and did it well!!

Sound Mechanical has absolutely MISERABLE customer service. It is apparently not within the realm of possibility that this company can make a mistake. When we mentioned to the owner that his workers left a beer bottle behind he told us we were lying and cussed at us. We could care less that there was a beer bottle left behind, just wanted him to know as a business owner. We also let him know that the dryer vent was now disconnected (they had to move the washer and dryer to get to the water heater). He informed me that someone must have moved the washer and dryer after they left. The washer and dryer are a million pounds and neither me nor my tenants touched it after they left. We also didn't care that they made mistakes, just wanted it fixed. The owner was irate that we pointed these things out and used foul language when speaking to us. Last noteworthy items, they did not replace the bathroom door, they left it in my tenants bedroom. They left crud all over the floor in their work area. They also damaged the railing outside my house when they launched the old water heater over the railing instead of walking it down. You'd never believe it, but he didn't apologize for that either.

Sound Mechanical has been our one stop plumbing shop for all of our business and home plumbing needs for years. They are always fast, reliable, and professional. We can't recommend them highly enough!

These guys have got it down! Total sweethearts!! They were able to come out to my house and diagnose the problem with in minutes. Gave me options on what products they recommended. We’re able to schedule me in a timely fashion. Showed up on time on the appointed day. Did the work well!! Couldn’t be more happier with theses. Awesome!!!
