Devious did an outstanding job! My A/C went out with a heat index of 115degF. In under 15 minutes, Devious had my air back up and running. I’m very thankful for Devious and Head’s Heating & Air Conditioning!!

Bought a new home in 2021. 4 months later the a/c which was installed by Heads and is in the attic started leaking, dripped water through the ceiling and flooded my kitchen. Now the refrigerant is two pounds low after only 2 years and they want to charge me hundreds of dollars to come out and check for a leak. They installed the unit so if there is a leak it seems likely that they didn’t install it properly and should backup their work without charging me hundreds of dollars.

I called Heads this morning because my heater stopped working. I checked the breaker at the unit and at the main panel. I also checked the thermostat. I was told there would be a $79 charge for the service call and to diagnose the problem, which didn't seem unreasonable. The company came out promptly. The service technician was professional. As it turned out, there is a third breaker to the unit outside the home. The breaker had tripped. He flipped the breaker in the unit worked fine. My complaint is that they charged me $133. He did not tell me it would be an additional $54 to flip the breaker. I did not authorize the additional charge. I spoke with him about it and I called the office. Neither of them were willing to compromise on the amount charged. I'm tired of being ripped off by companies just because they think they can do it. I would not recommend this company

We had been using Heads for the last several years for AC maintenance and always thought highly of them until this past May. First my in laws had an AC issue at their rental and were told by the contractor for Heads that the unit was old and needed a new part but he wouldn’t invest in the part because the unit was so old and it would be $6900 for a new unit!! Or replacing the part would be $800 but the couldn’t guarantee it would last. They weren’t prepared to spend that much and went with the replacement part and it’s been fine. Then not a week later our AC stops working after only 8 years… we had them come out and we were told the compressor was burnt out and we’d need a new for $4900… I said wait a minute you told me the other day my in laws was going to cost $6900 my unit is bigger and it’s going to be $4900 just for the compressor??? Then he began to explain that was for their inside and outside… he said If we had to replace your inside it would be over $7000… After he left I’m thinking that still doesn’t make any sense.. so the next day my contractor who does construction projects for us was here working and I told him what happened and he said they’re trying to rip you off you need to call this other company. I know the owner and he is honest and will take care of this for a lot less than that. Sure enough I called them out here and they replaced the unit with a warranty on parts and labor for $2600! It was very disappointing as we used them for many years and it’s just disconcerting that they would try and take advantage of people this way and I wouldn’t want anyone else, especially with no way of being able to afford it, to go through this.

I have never had an experience with a company more unprofessional and disappointing than this! Everyone from the owners to the customer service representatives were completely unprofessional. I had a misdiagnosis and paid a ridiculous amount of money. I’m trying to describe this misdiagnosis to them and negotiate a payment that was more suitable. They refused saying their techs are the best in the business. This is absolutely incorrect! Putting Freon in an air condition unit does not fix everything. The air condition unit completely shut back off the next day. Another company came and had a completely different assessment, fixed the actual problem and the air condition unit has been working ever since. To say that we were highly disappointed in both the actual service and the lack of professionalism afterwards is an understatement. I would never give them a single dollar ever again! The owners were extremely rude and very unprofessional every step of the way!! It’s OK to admit that sometimes people don’t always have it 100% right. Be a great business owner, accept it and trust your customer. It’s not always about money!!! Reputation should matter.

I used Heads for about 6 years for AC maintenance twice a year. They came out in March and said everything was fine. In May we noticed we weren’t getting any cool air. They came out to check. I wasn’t home but the technician told my wife the compressor was bad and that it would cost $4900 to replace the outside unit only and replacing the inside unit would also would make it $6000. She told them she’d discuss it with me and we would call them back. The very next morning I got a phone call from Head’a asking when they could come out to replace the unit. I found this a bit odd as if they were rushing us. I told them I would call them back when I was ready. We had another local company come out to compare offers. This other company agreed the compressor was bad but to replace the unit would only cost $2400. There was no need to replace the inside unit. We agreed to let this other local company to do the job. No problems since. They also charge half as much to come out and maintain the unit. The other day I called Heads back to see about getting a refund for half my annual maintenance fee since they only came out once. I was told they don’t give refunds and the secretary had no explanation as to why. $240 Maintence for the year. I guess I should be happy to only lose out on $120 when in reality they wanted to scam my wife out of $2400. Another review mentioned the technicians are given commissions now. I guess that explains why this company has gone downhill. I suggest stay away and compare pricing with other local companies.

We live in a 2 year old home, there was no way I was calling the contractor who installed my unit because they did numerous things wrong. I filled out website contact forms for several local heating and AC contractors, I got 1 response and that was Laura at Heads Heating and Air, and it was the next day. They came out, walked thru stuff with my Hubby and we are so pleased...we signed a maintenance contract with them. Professional, knowledgeable, on time, and get it right.

The owner was extremely rude. He argued and yelled at me about my unit being under warranty. We are under a 2 year warranty and he wanted to argue that it was only a year warranty, all while I’m literally staring at the paperwork that specifically states 2 year warranty. He then calls back and says Adams Home called and did say it is in fact a 2 year warranty. No apology ever given. He comes out and fixes the issue and then sends me a bill anyways. Terrible customer service! Terrible ownership!

Terrible company to do business with. They installed my heat pump two years ago. I’ve had to have them out half a dozen times in the last two years for repairs. Now I had a warranty repair to the condenser unit outside. They said that the manufacturer would cover the parts and such but that I had to pay for four hours labor for the repair. ($200).
Tech arrived and 30 minutes later said that he had his equipment pulling a vacuum and was going to lunch. After he was finished it was 2.5 hours total (including his lunch break). Still charged me the $200!!!
I would advise anyone and everyone to stay away from this company! Poor service, poor workmanship and even worse service!

This used to be a good company before they start offering the repairmen commission when they sold an AC unit. My family and I used this company for years. The last time someone came out, they put freon in my unit and said I needed a new unit because the leak was coming from within. I called another guy who looked at the unit and said you have a leak in a hose outside. He could tell because leaves and dirt had settled in the spot where the hole was. He fixed in about 10 minutes and havent had a problem since. The time before that, someone came out, and didnt bother to look at anything, and said they could get me a new unit and they would have it built on a concrete block to make it nice. I called someone else and it was the fan motor. Offering your employees commission has really prompted your employees to become scam artist, thus making your company look bad.
