    I was extremely hesitant to have this company come out to my house because of their reviews but my home warranty (Old Republic) placed them as our service provider when our A/C kept freezing over and wouldn't cool our house. I spoke with Michael rather late on a Friday (I believe), probably 6 or 7pm, he told me what I could do to try and cool our house because it was 82 degrees and he said that if it hadn't cooled down within an hour he would come out that night and fix it since we have a 1 year old that was running a fever. What he told us cooled the house and kept it cool. Michael came out a few days later, he was late for his appointment but when he arrived he apologized multiple times and explained why he was late, he diagnosed our A/C unit and filled it with refrigerant. He was extremely nice and professional. I waited to write the review to make sure that his work would hold up and it has perfectly! A/C during an Alabama summer is required and Michael made sure we had one that works properly.

    Michael is completely unprofessional and his lack of integrity is astounding. Our home warranty sent his company to us for AC repair, and while our AC is fixed and running, there were damages to our ceiling and attic due to incomplete workmanship. The drain pipe was not connected properly upon job completion, which led to condensation dripping into our attic, rather than the drain pan. When I contacted Michael about having the damages fixed, he came out and fixed the connection and promised to have someone come out to patch the ceiling. I had to call Michael 1-2 times a week for over a month, with empty promises of scheduling repairs before he finally came out himself. When he arrived, he attempted to convince me that I bought my home as a foreclosure (I did not) and that the damages had been there before he initially did any work. He also informed me that I had an outstanding balance of over $600 that would need to be paid before he completed any further work on my AC (he identified that no one insulated a pipe that is now sweating into my attic, as well--more incomplete workmanship on his part) or repaired the damages, when we paid the invoice that he provided IN FULL upon job completion. He is also HOURS late, without notice, to every single appointment he sets. I would not recommend this company to anyone, ever.

    Michael from Mastercraft did a great job and checked everything and made sure everything was running properly. I definitely recommend this company and will use them next time I need service on my heating and air.

    Again with a problem with Michael...he told our home warranty company and my husband that he replaced the relay and capacitor on our unit, and that it was completely stopped up. That the fan was working properly when he left. The fan quit working before he even left the driveway. He told me that he would call me the next day because the capacitor needed to be replaced. On the second day of hearing nothing my husband called him. He told him that he would get back with me shortly to let me know when he would return. Hours later he was called back only to tell my husband he replaced t already...which he didnt, was not even on the work order. So basically I was charged $75 for a guy to come out at 9 at night for nothing. NOT HAPPY. After reading reviews I'm obviously not the only one!

    Called to ask about a new installation and more info regarding that. Guy who picked up was short with me and refused to give me any info. When asked why, he stated that he would have to come out and look at it before he would help me at all. Moving to the new company that shows a little more effort into new paying customers and not be rude and abrupt as this one.

    He was sent by our home warranty company because our fan was blowing and would not turn off. He finally called after 3 days and said he lost the work order but would be here at 12pm. He arrived at 7pm. He said a part was bad and he could get it the next day but he had a part in his van as a temporary fix. While attempting the fix, he did something wrong and the air unit started smoking so bad that my wife ran outside with a fire extinguisher because the entire house smelled like burning plastic. He jumped up and turned the breaker off, obviously a few minutes too late! So, he tells us he has to get the part but tells the warranty company that the unit needs to be repaired or replaced and that the coils are stopped up with dirt! And that incorrect parts are in the unit and that's the cause of the problem. So of course the warranty doesn't cover coil cleaning and won't cover any repair of the alleged incorrect parts. Warranty company calls him back asking about the smoke issue while he was here and he tells them it wasn't the part he put in. Then he tells them the unit is too big and the ducts are too small,etc. We paid him $100 to fill our home with smoke and ruin a part on our unit and the only problem was the fan blower continuously. Now the warranty company won't cover anything because of what Master craft said while changing the story of what was wrong.

    Michael came out very quickly to address my concern. He took his time and clean out our outside AC unit and the air is blowing better than ever. I really appreciate his generosity. He was very professional. Will use him again if I have any AC issues. Thanks again.

    I called Michael out of the blue for a clogged main water line. He immediately came to my house at 8:00 p.m. and fixed the problem. Please consider using small businesses in the Moody area. Michael did a great job at a fair price.

    A/C going out on a summer day is never a good thing, but Mastercraft was out promptly and accurately diagnosed the problem. The needed part was not on the truck, but the technician got the unit running temporarily and came back the next day and installed the part. Definitely will call again. Highly recommend.
