These people are terrible. I purchased a boiler (not cheap) in October. In February I called for service as the house was not being heated well, and I thought they had sold me a boiler that was too small for my home. A 'tech' came out and could find nothing wrong. I wrote an email and complained. They set out the 'service manager' He determined that there was still air in the lines. They had trouble getting the air out of the lines when it was installed, so this was an installation issue. He bled the lines downstairs and the heating was much better. Then I received a bill for the call. This is Warranty! I called. The people in the office are really not good. I received a call back saying that the bill was for LABOR costs when the 'manager' came out! WHAT? The so called tech cannot fix the installation/warranty problem, so they send out the 'expert' and then bill for the call??? I will look for another company to handle the rest of the warranty. This is really unbelievable, and it is a local company - who would have thought? The sales staff was very good. The service staff and office staff is really bad.
Wish I could give zero stars. Took the day off work, waited all afternoon. Called at 2 and was told the technician has our ticket and would be here by 4. Called again at 4:15 and was the technician would be here sometime tonight, which we couldn't accommodate. They said technician tried to call and said voicemail was full, but I have gotten other voicemail so this was not the case. I do not doubt that he called, but I am not sure why there was no further call until I called to check in, especially since they knew we were waiting as I had already called once to check. Do not use unless you are fine with waiting all day for someone that may or may not show up. They did offer to reschedule, but clearly were not very upset about losing the business. Really, really disappointed. We will be looking elsewhere for a company that can just be more reliable.
Just something to think about- My unit is 2 years old and I already have a leak. Reliable is telling me somebody will be out to service it in ONE WEEK! I have had to move out of my home and I'm incurring numerous expenses as well as inconveniences. The warranty I have is really doing me no good.
Very Reliable. Had our water heater go out a few weeks ago and they came over with in an hour to check out what we would need to replace it. Have used them for years to service furnace and AC never had any issues, staff is really friendly and even explains what they are doing.
My family's air conditioner went out so I had one of their technicians come out and check my air conditioner unit that wasn't running properly. The tech showed up turned the unit on saw that it was running hot and turned it off and stated we needed a new compressor which would cost $1800 or we could replace the unit for $2500. We were under the impression we needed a new unit and had no way to purchase on so we suffered with a new born and a 7 year old in a home with no A/C for a little more then a week trying to figure out this unexpected expense out. On a whim I called another company who came over and replaced a capacitor that didn't have enough volts for the fan or the compressor and thankfully it's been running like new since. I don't understand why reliables tech didn't check the capacitors voltage and see that that was causing the compressor to over heat. I've since called for a refund to just be told the owner would contact me and I haven't heard from him since.
Sorry to say that Reliable Heating is not reliable - the estimator could not find the house, Cindy in the office could not keep track of who she was calling, the estimator James was downright grouchy and then I had to call 3 times to get the $94 diagnostic report. I could not go through with having them do the work after all this just to know what the work was.
The best I have ever used! New construction and Repairs! I won't call anyone else. Rick and his team could not be kinder, more knowledgeable and professional in all they do!!!!
Very old inefficient AC unit went down on Monday. Free estimate for repair/replacement Tuesday. Whole unit replacement Wednesday with 10 year warranty. Doesn’t get better than that! Thank you
