    An hvac company, only time people post reviews are because they failed to be proactive and their A/C is broken!
    They are quick to respond and are a wonderful family! Would recommend them over heating and cooling solutions any day!

    This is the worst company I have ever worked with. I had this company come in Oct 2020 to clean and tune up my furnace. Two weeks ago my furnace stopped working in the middle of winter. This company did not have a technician available so I called another company. The technician showed me how dirty and rusty the flame sensor and burners were and stated there is no way these were cleaned just two months before when they were supposed to have been cleaned from Reliable Heating and Air Conditioning. The technician stated this is why my furnace stopped working, because these two items were extremely dirty and rusty. He also documented not to use the allergen filter I had in place because it constricts airflow. I never knew this. I contacted Reliable Heating and Air Conditioning regarding this and Belinda the Office Manager told me since I signed the invoice from Oct my furnace was cleaned. I did not realize I need to remove the furnace cover and check myself to make sure the flame sensor and burners were cleaned properly before I signed the invoice. I'm a nurse, not an HVAC technician. I assumed they were cleaned because I trusted they did their job properly. Belinda told me it was my fault the furnace was so dirty and rusty because I was using a dirty filter. NO I WAS NOT. No where on my invoice from the other company did it state my filter was dirty. It stated to change it to a cheaper one from Menards to help with airflow. Even if it was dirty my furnace would not have been so rusty and dirty like it was if it would have been cleaned just two months before. The last time I had it cleaned was in 2017 when I was renting my home. The technician stated the condition of the flame sensor and burners appeared to not have been cleaned since 2017. When I told Belinda I was going to post negative reviews online she threatened me and told me in her email they "would take further action." What does this even mean? This company left my family without heat in the middle of winter and blamed me for it. What kind of company would threaten their customers? Belinda is not fit to work with the public and is the most unprofessional woman I have ever encountered with a company. To have a company threaten a customer is completely unacceptable!!

    I have attached a picture of one of the burners that was very dirty and rusty. If you zoom in you can see the flakes of dirt and rust on the burner. There is NO WAY this was cleaned in October. I have attached the invoice from the company who came to help me showing documentation of how dirty and rusty the burners and flame sensor were and to change the filter to a cheaper one to help airflow. Never in this invoice does it state my filter was dirty like Belinda assumed. I have also attached the e mail response from Belinda threatening me to take further action against me.

    We have used Reliable for service calls and the installation of A/C and just now, a new furnace. Their bid was about HALF the price of a competitor. The office person was very friendly and helpful. Prior to recently getting our new furnace, they had inspected our furnace and did not push us to replace it early. They did not oversell me on the new furnace either. I ran their proposal by my BIL who worked in HVAC, and he said he would recommend the same model they did - middle of the road, not the Cadillac. Saved us $1,000's!

    Excellent service. Timely and truly knew what they were doing and they made sure to explain information to us. We had an old furnace that was giving us problems and of course went out on us during the coldest week. We called Reliable and they promptly came to the house and got it going until the new unit arrived. The new unit is in and is excellent. The process from start to finish with them was easy going.

    Great job!!!!!!! Technicians were absolutely the best. All three were very knowledgeable went about there business and had a complete installation done in one day. We had no heat with an elderly mother. Reliable worked past there shift so we could have heat, this was all done on a Sunday. When I received the bill there was no charge for charge for emergency service or overtime. God bless Rick and his gang of help. Would highly recommend Reliable.

    Senior citizen rip off scam...my recently widowed mother had a problem with her A/C unit early in July during a hot spell. She called Reliable (or should I call them Unreliable) to check out the unit. The technician arrived and within minutes told her that she needed a new unit. He did not even look into the unit. She could not afford that and paid him the service fee. We contacted another technician. Within 10 minutes the problem was found. It needed a $27 part. Her A/C unit is now working perfectly.

    We contacted Reliable to complain about how such an easy fix could be missed. The receptionist was rude to my mother and offered no customer service. Eventually the owner called my mother and offered to refund the service fee. After 3 weeks and multiple “the check is in the mail” she still has not received her refund.

    After reading other reviews this is not the first time this has happened.

    How can a company that has been a business this long get away with shoddy workmanship and rude employees? I am going to make it my mission to warn others to stay away from Reliable and just call Lee’s Plumbing!

    I have used Reliable quite a few times in the past 20+ years for furnace and air conditioning issues. Always a good experience. Quick response, friendly and knowledgeable. This last time was no exception. It would have saved me a day of time, including time off work, had I known that Reliable serviced hot water heaters. Since I didn't know this, I called two other companies prior to calling Reliable. One of those companies never called me back (I left two messages) and the other said they would come out but kept pushing the time out. Originally was 5-7:00 p.m. then 8-10. At 10:40 p.m., I told them to forget it. Next day I called Reliable. After leaving my information, I was contacted within an hour to set a time for the tech to come. He came on time. To help in describing my issue, he took a pic of the inside of our 27-year old water heater (which did not look good ☹. Lots of rust and corrosion…and it was leaking water) and the issue was thoroughly explained to me. Only safe option was to replace the water heater. He then explained all our options for replacement, answered my many questions and gave his recommendation, which would be the most cost effective, long and short run, based on house size and where we live. We scheduled to have it installed the next day. Next day, two installers came (on time) and had it fully installed in about an hour (included time to drain old unit). Took old unit away and left no mess.

    Last month when it was 95 degrees and a dew point of 73 (heat index of 113) our air conditioning system died. I called Reliable, the are local and family owned; we and spoke with Belinda, and offered that they could be out as quickly as that evening if it was an emergency. We opted for next day, an entire new system, air conditioning unit and furnace, was installed by 1pm at a price that was so much less than any of the other 4 quotes we received. We are so happy and cool with our new system. THANK YOU!

    Had a humidifier installed on my furnace. At that time I was sold a PM for the Central Air at the house ($159) was told they would call to set up an appointment and they claim they called ONCE and left a message that I did not receive. I called to question them 10/16/18 and the office lady claims they called ONCE and that is it. I asked for a refund and she said she cannot authorize that. She said she could set something up for the A/C or the furnace and I said No I just want a refund and move on. I then asked to speak to someone who could and she said the owner. I then asked for his name 3 times before she eventually gave it to me. I asked to speak to him and she said she will talk to him and I would be hearing back from her on the issue. I have heard of similar issue from co-workers about Reliable. I would think twice about calling them for service or DO NOT prepay for any services even if they are offering a discount to prepay. Basic Scam 101 I guess.

    On the coldest day of the year so far, my thermostat broke. I attempted to replace it myself and was not able to get it to work and my furnace would not kick back on. I called Reliable. The tech called me back immediately and walked us through how to fix it via phone and text. Very happy with the response time and the service I received.
