Kiernan-Laitinen Heating & Air Conditioning

I am so happy with the service I received from Kiernan-Laitnen that I decided to write this review. Not only were they my first choice because they were a sponsor for my sons football team(Horlick) but they ended up being the best price and service.

I got 5 quotes to install a central air system and K-L heating was the best deal hands down, it wasn't even close. I was even able to upgrade to a higher seer unit for better energy savings and still come in hundreds of dollars cheaper then the other quotes lower seer units.

The installers were on time and did a great job. they even worked with me on my archaic heating system and made it work. After getting so many quotes and reading so many reviews I can say 100% without a doubt these guys are the best and if you go with them, you wont be disappointed.

p.s. I dont, nor have I ever worked for these guys, nor did I know anyone that works there. this review is 100% real, unlike some of the reviews ive read on google. lol

We bought our Carrier furnace and air conditioner and thermostat through a different company. On Thursday evening our thermostat said SYSTEM FAULT 82-Thermal Lockout 4 hours. We called the other company Friday morning and they said we'll come out on Monday. How are you going to pay for this? We felt that they didn't care less and they were rude! Carrier gave us the name and phone number of Kiernan. When we called they said they would send a technician out today. Their care and concern meant a lot to us! The technician came out in less than an hour. He replaced the bad part on the air conditioner, reset the thermostat and the bill was less than $150.00!! We will definitely not go back to the other company (we had other problems with them in the past)!! We will highly recommend Kiernan-Laitinen to our family and friends! They did an incredible job!!!!

I highly recommend Kiernan-Laitinen. They have amazing staff, from technicians to office staff. Elizabeth is very patient and helpful and so nice. I recommended this business to all of my family members and they’ve all had great experiences.

We had Kiernan install a new forced draft carrier unit with AC, UV light, ION filter and air recover (fresh air). We had a boiler before so they did all the sheet metal, ducts, vents etc.... What a great job, Shane and the owner were easy to work with and were perfectionists. Today I had them install a humidifier and again a NICE job!!!!! Pretty solid company and lead installer Shane is good!!!!

Nothing but problems from the very beginning. They couldn't remember our schedules installation date. They installed our furnace and AC wrong and improperly. They left a mess behind, ignored our concerns and claimed they did everything correct. So why does my 8 month old unit already have a leak, water pooling inside and rust both inside and outside the unit? Demanded payment without making corrections to their poor work. NEVER use this company! Pay a little more for a different company. It will be so worth it in the long run. I promise.

I had the very best experience with this service yesterday on an 80 degree day! From the receptionist, Lianne, to the technician, Lance, the service was courteous, prompt, and honest! The tube of my air conditioner was clogged and after calling around to compare service fees and hourly labor, I decided to go with this company and was not disappointed!
First of all, I was surprised in this heat that they had a technician even available. From my initial phone call to the time my service was complete, a mere two hours had passed. Lance was accommodating, respectful, and explained what he was doing. If this problem had not been addressed this quickly and accurately, I could have been in for a very expensive ordeal! Do not even shop around; these are the people for you!!! Bravo on a job well done! Thank you very much!!!😎

Highly recommended!!! I never felt pressured to buy, or they were trying to over sell me anything I didn't need. They were very honest, so I had a new furnace installed. They arrived exactly when they said they were going to, installed the furnace, were extremely polite, and there were no hidden fees, / charges I've had to deal with from other furnace companies who took advantage of my lack of knowledge. Now I'm saving every month on my gas / electric bill! Thanks again!!!

Had them install a/c , furnace and water heater less then 1 year ago. Terrible job. Ordered wrong furnace and installed damaged water heater in wrong place ,asked technician about damage to water heater said he didn't do it. Called office to have sales person come out to look at it. They replaced water heater next day and installed in right spot. They left without starting water heater, called again to have them come back and start water heater. Less then 1 year later have issues with corrosion in furnace because hose clamp not tightened probably. Technician worked on clamp for 5 minutes ,sat in truck for 25 minutes. Gave me a bill for $200 . I asked why work wasn't covered under warranty. Technician was very rude and said he would call his boss . another 15 minutes in truck ,gives me bill for $95.said I had to pay for trip charge. Will not use Kiernan again.

They sold us a new unit that was over three years old. Wrong warranty information and product was not registered with Carrier after installation. Poor communication as well.

This company used to be the best. My experience this year has been absolutely terrible. It took 3 visits to get the problem fixed, and I had to tell them what it was - after a technician had already been here twice and furnace was still not fixed!! I will be going to another HVAC company in the future. Although everyone was nice, this company has gone downhill. During one of my phone calls I got guy on the phone who was arguing with me and treating me like I didn’t know what I was talking about. When I told him the tech who was here didn’t seem to know what he was doing - his answer was to tell me how many years experience that tech has. Then he all of a sudden seemed to catch himself and became very solicitous. Too little too late. I do not recommend this company any longer, which is sad. As I said, they used to be the best.
