I would not recommend this company. I will save the long version of the story and say this. They replaced my furnace less than a year ago. They took the old one out and put the new one in and everything was fine. Six months after they installed it I noticed a little bit of water underneath my vinyl plank flooring and can’t figure out where it’s coming from. About a day later after checking the washing machine and dishwasher I checked the furnace and it’s Clearly leaking. You can hear the dripping and see the water pretty close to the electronic components of the furnace.
So I called this company back six months after they installed it while it was supposed to be under a one-year complete warranty and they do not honor the warranty. They said the only way they are coming out is if I pay $100 an hour plus $100 service call. They don’t honor their warranty and they are also unprofessional. They don’t bother to answer my phone call, but instead the Dodge the phone call and text me. Not a good way to do business. They don’t honor their warranty and they do cheap work that is prone To fail or cause issues within a year
I will absolutely not be using this company to fix the problem they created, and I won’t be referring them to anyone else
Do not use this company what ever you do! INCOMPETENT! and INCONSIDERATE! And that is a very nice way to describe them! They never showed up, and I made 2 appointments with them. I asked to talk to someone in management the first time they didn't show up, and of coarse no one was available. The first time was on 06/16/2022, they told me I was not on there books to come out, which is not true, because I wrote the appointment down 3 different places even on a pink post card they send in the mail pertaining to tune-ups on A/Cs for $100. The second time 06/22/2022 no call, no show. They don't care!! I'm 70 years old and both times I got up extra early to move vehicles out of the garage for them ( we have an air handler up in the attic, you have to go through the garage to get to it ) I set up a ladder for them to use to get into the attic, and I went up into the attic to move insulation around and made a path for them so they could get to the air handler. I left a light on for them in the attic, so they could see, plus I kept the door open for the attic all night long and early morning, so that it could be a little cooler in the attic for the technician to do his work. I did this both times mind you! All for there convenience, and all for nothing. Talking to the person who takes calls at the office is also very RUDE, she could careless what you have to say or what your complaint is. This company does not care about customer service. This company could careless about quality service!!!!!! STAY AWAY! THEY DON''T CARE! They deserve 0 stars!!!!!! WARNING!!!!!!

Next day I call to ask why my AC unit is still not working and they never called back! Left multiple messages. To add a cherry on top the same thing happened with my mother in law. They installed her AC and when it needed fixing they charged her and are not responding to any of her calls. We went with another company and are now nice and cool. I would never recommend them to anyone!
On time, responsive, courteous and very reasonably priced. We had lots of questions about which model and types of furnace extras to include. They were very honest in their suggestions and things to skip that are commonly "sold" and really not needed as well as expensive. We at the coldest time in January had no heat and they were here asap- just trying to get the old thing going for a little heat- no luck but great effort and no charge for their thoughtfulness. Just great!!!! A family business, and attention to detail is evident. Highly recommended.
They came out on a Saturday night and charged $139 just to show up ok but the guy was only there about 1/2 hour or less and charged another $150 labor only to determine the fan motor was bad. They had no replacement and their warehouse had no replacement so I had to wait almost a week to get a new one installed for another $660 cost to me. Just seems pretty expensive and feel I was taken advantage
Great service person. Very friendly, informative and caring. He explained each step of diagnosing the issue with my furnace and the cost. Most importantly, he didnt try to sell me a new furnace rather he replaced a simple part and got us heat. He did let me know of future potential problems and where if certain parts fail a new furnace is the best option. I am very pleased and highly recommend J&B Heating and Air.
Just Bad Heating and Cooling would be giving them a more than favorable than they deserve! I had to give them one star which they don't even come close to or it wouldn't post. I chose them because they were local and actually paid more over my builders company as I figured it would be good to keep the business local and get good service down the road. At first the experience was good, but when the village inspector made them come back to properly install the EVR, they charged me about 10X what it should have cost!!!! My builder almost fell over and said I told you so. On top of that, we could smell natural gas in the basement from time to time, so I discovered on my own that an end cap was improperly installed, so I called to have them fix their mistake. When the tech came out while I was out of town, it took him 3 minutes to replace and admitted it was installed wrong in the first place. He handed my wife a bill for $122.00. An $89.00 trip charge (Their office is about a mile from my house) and $30.00 to install a .25 part. I was furious, so I called them immediately. After trying many times for an explanation and an absent owner who just doesn't care, I gave up. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PATHETIC COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!
Awesome, prompt service. From the first phone call I could tell I was going to treated well. Kevin, the tech who came out, was very professional. Within 2 hrs of my initial phone call my A/C was working again. No doubt I'd use J & B in the future.
Highly unprofessional they said the furnace was broken but after getting a second opinion we found out they were lying they said the secondary heat exchange was broken but it was not. Also no call/no showed on his return visit.
