    Carl was late getting here, he said he could not find anything wrong in the 5 minutes he was here. He said some stove just smell like gas, charged me $72.74 for the 5 minutes and did absolutely nothing. I Do not reccomend at all. Total rip off since I posted my review, the office people were so nice and helpful... problem is resolved. Thank you

    I have had 2 service calls (furnace) at my home in the past 2 years. Randy (owner) came out for one and I don't recall the name of the person who came for the other. Both times, they were prompt, knowledgeable, reasonable, and fixed the problem exactly. Randy also helped me figure out another problem in my basement (plumbing!), he knows all kinds of stuff, just ask him. I recommend Bloch Appliance 100%, they do good work.

    Called on Monday for my washing machine that wasn’t spinning. The tech was scheduled between 1:00-4:00 pm on Tuesday. He called me when he was 20 minutes away (around 3:00). Arrived on time, wore a mask. Diagnosed and informed me that the repair would end up costing as much as replacing the machine.

    I appreciate the honesty and was only charged $75. And my personal belief is that while I spent $75 to be told that they can’t help me, I didn’t waste $100s on trying to fix something that won’t last.

    Looking to buy a new washer but I will always recommend using this service in the future.

    I had another local HVAC contractor tell me that I needed a new furnace, and it would cost me thousands. Called Randy for a second opinion, and in under 30 minutes, determined I only needed to replace the secondary heat exchanger. The part was under warranty, and I got my furnace up and running for only a couple hundred bucks. Save yourself time and money, and just go with Bloch.

    Very bad service experience with the technician who came to the house to repair a dryer. When I asked him to wear booties, he refused. Then When I asked him to at least take off his shoes, he said, “ I don’t take my shoes off for anyone”. After that he got angry and threw his bag in the truck, and said “I’m out of here!” He was very unprofessional and his behavior was worrisome. I would never have someone like that in our home. Some neighbors were outside and witnessed his behavior. We called Bloch to report this and have not heard back.

    My first experience with Bloch was back in January 2010, called them for a 2nd opinion after "1 hour heating & cooling co." had told me I had a cracked heat exchanger & needed a new furnace. Bloch sent out a tech (Jason) to take a look at my furnace. Result...new igniter. Thank you for the great service and honesty.
    Second experience was today 2/15/2016. (YES I CALLED THEM FIRST THIS TIME!!!) Going to need a new secondary heat exchanger...Brandon the service tech made some calls & after checking with the company owner & a thorough check with supply house, found out I would be able to get mine replaced under warranty. This is on a 1994 furnace. between him and the owner I think they pulled some strings for me...maybe ...Either way this is GREAT customer service!!!
    You hear about a lot of scamming out there & deceitful practices. Some companys would of charged me full price then turn the part in under warranty any way. After a fairly quick R&R of the secondary exchanger ,which he had to go pick-up, showed me the bad one, did a careful examination of the primary exchanger while it was out (the one that 1 HOUR HEATING & COOLING SAID WAS CRACKED 6 YEARS AGO). Brandon cleaned my furnace, put everything back together, cleaned up the work area & had my furnace running in just a few hours from when he first walked in my door. OUTSTANDING SERVICE + An honest company. = happy customer.

    Got off to a bit of a rough start with a very frustrating discussion with their front line customer service rep who didn't seem to really want to help, but the manager called back and is making things right. They have installed a A/C and boiler system for us in the past and it appears to have been done very well with clean routings (for a 100 year old house).

    Technician arrived (Alan), spent three minutes looking at the dryer before he walked out saying he was going to his truck to look something up. He left and never came back. We called and were told he would call with an update.....it's been a week and we still haven't heard back from anyone. I would not recommend anyone to this place.

    Was bring my fridge to them, they said they going to call me to let me know how much it’s going to cost to repair it. After a week I call them to check what’s going on with my fridge, lady said the guy who supposed to fix it didn’t even look yet, and we will call you tomorrow with answers. Two weeks no calls, after that I call again, another lady said the same, next day gay call me back and said “I will take a look tomorrow and call you back”! After another 10 days no call me back I come to them to take it. They said we don’t know where is it.
