Called Arch on Monday morning because the furnace died on a Sunday. The were the company that installed the furnace so they were the first company I called even though it isn't under warranty. The guy came over, took a look at the furnace and said he wouldn't service it and left. I was at work so I didn't know why. I called the dispatcher, to have the tech call me. About 2 hiuholater the tech called and said he's passing on it because there wasn't space for him to work. He said that if I moved the water heater, then he'd come back, but it would be after hours, and it would be a minimum of $200. Per hour, and there was no guarantee when he would be able to be there. Keep in mind that in early March, it still goes below freezing overnight. So now by the time I knew he wouldn't even look at it it was too late to get someone there that day. So another night without heat. I called Rock Valley, they stopped by the next day. He was in and out in 30 minutes, between testing and the repair. No moving of the water heater necessary, and reasonably priced. I will never call Arch for anything ever. When the time comes for a new Furnace, I'll call Rock Valley first. The only regret that I have is that I can't give Arch zero stars.
Our home is over 100 years old, and as with all old homes, it comes with it's weird set of quirks. We only trust Arch to work on our radiators. Sam is incredibly knowledgable and even takes the time to help us understand ways to troubleshoot issues so we don't have to call someone every time we have a concern. I would recommend them to anyone looking to get the job done right the first time.

This business spends more time on automatic phone answering and should spend more time answering the phone directly. I called at 10am and it's 315pm with no returned call
Sam and Darby were very professional and friendly! Fast, courteous installation of furnace, a/c and water heater! This is our 2nd furnace from Arch, the old one was 24 yrs old. It still worked, but it was time. Strongly recommend Arch Heating & Cooling, Sam and Darby!
I've used them twice now and each time they've been fantastic. Especially Rosemary who has keep me up to date every step of the way. Reasonable times / expectations. They clearly value customers and respond quickly.
Sunday 1/12/20:woman was very polite, said tech would be probably an hour, he was on way n called me in50 Min's. He told me what was wrong right away and had furnace running in20 Min's customer since 1999.thanks John!!
