We had a water heater replaced in a modular home. Jason and Andrea arrived on time for the appointment. They were very professional and efficient. Project was completed much sooner than we expected. We will definitely call Anderson for any future Plumbing needs.

****SKIP ANDERSON'S AND GO WITH MAINSTREAM ELECTRIC, HEATING, COOLING & HVAC****

I hired Anderson's to install central air conditioning in my home many years ago, and then about 8 years ago to install a new furnace. I was happy with both of these services.

On Wednesday, January 5th, 2022 my furnace quit working.

Here are the problems I found: Anderson's only has one service technician! In the middle of winter you can't depend on the technician to timely fix your furnace. Not to mention I had a very difficult time getting to talk to the tech. He didn't answer his cell X 2 that morning. I called the office and they said they would call Will and ask him to call me. Still no call back. I called the office again a couple hours later. The office lady apologized and told me she would call Will again. He finally called me shortly thereafter.

Will arrived Friday, January 7th, for the service call. I made a big mistake and didn't ask for a quote on the cost of the service call (which I found out later was $150 plus tax). After diagnosing my furnace, he told me the blower failed. Will then told me it would be about $1100 for the motor, and that didn't include the total cost with labor and tax. Will never told me what the total cost would be. Never offered the info. I asked him to order the blower. He told me it would be sometime the middle of the next week....in the winter!!! IF I HAD FOLLOWED THROUGH WITH ANDERSON'S, THEY COULD HAVE CHARGED ME WHATEVER THEY WANTED, WHICH SEEMS VERY DISHONEST BECAUSE MANY HOME OWNERS WOULD HAVE JUST PAID THAT $$$!!

I am a pretty competent Do It Yourselfer. I got to thinking and looked up HVAC companies. I found Mainstream Electric, Heating, Cooling & HVAC with excellent reviews. I called them and they were very up-front. The office lady told me their service call with diagnosis was only $79 plus tax, not the ridiculous $150 plus tax Anderson's tried to stiff me for! Their tech came out the same day as Anderson's and confirmed Will's diagnosis. The tech even emailed me a quote to replace the blower!

I then called Rheem, who made my furnace. They gave me the replacement part number I needed. I then bought it on Northamericanhvac.com, with free shipping and no sales tax for $704, not the $1100 Will from Anderson's was going to stiff me for!!! After watching a Youtube video, I did the repair myself and easily saved at least $1500!!!!

In summary, I was very disappointed in Anderson's. I even told the office lady when I first called that I was a previous customer and they had installed the furnace. There was no discounted service call or any benefit from Anderson's. I called and texted Will the following Monday to cancel the repair and...SURPRISE!....HE NEVER CALLED OR TEXTED ME BACK!!!!!

We purchased a furnace with heat pump from them 4 years ago. We spent 3 years calling and requesting service from them as it was not working properly. It was still under warranty.
Even with several service calls, nothing was ever remedied. In fact, it deteriorated and our power bill continued to climb. I tried calling one of the owners, Mike Anderson, more than once and he never returned my calls.
Finally, we were so frustrated, we paid out of our pocket for competent HVAC company. Hundreds of dollars later, and having fixed multiple mistakes from installation,it is finally working properly.
worst company ever and only gave it one star so it would activate this review.

They switched us from oil to gas heat and even replaced the water heater. They got to us before we ran out of oil. They were prompt to their appointments and very friendly. They kept me in the loop and the owner himself came out to the bid. He even came by to check the progress of his men. Most companies don't do that anymore. I highly recommend them.

Craig and the team were amazing to work with. Extremely fair on their price and very quick to replace a failing furnace in order to keep us warm in this nasty weather. I was selling my home, and was requested by the buyer to have an HVAC inspection done on my current, perfectly functioning HVAC system. I agreed and had a company, who I will not name, come out and do the inspection.

The HVAC tech basically told me there were was a rattling in the interior unit and told me these parts had to be replaced.... about $400 dollars worth. He also told me that the system was functioning fine but aging and he recommended a total replacement.... even though I had never had a problem with it. I'm not putting that on an inspection report!!!??

I called Anderson's and asked for a second opinion inspection, and I'm very glad I did. The rattling $400 dollar part that the other company tried to sell me, was a loose screw.... he tightened it... wow... that was easy. He also inspected the rest of the HVAC system and as I had known prior... there was no need for the entire system to be replaced. It all worked fine.

Thank you Anderson's, for saving me hundreds if not thousands of dollars, and allowing to continue with the sale process of my home.
