We needed our heater fixed earlier this year. Some folks came into our home to work on it. They did fix the heater, but when they left a lot of my tools and my dead father's tools were missing. It's October and I'm still finding stuff missing. We called to complain but were given the brush off. My mother said one of the guys was acting funny and now we know why. I hope that person or people no longer work for this company. Customers shouldn't have to worry about this stuff.
The people at Hodgesville are awesome! They installed my Trane system 22 years ago when my house was built. There is a reason they work with Trane products...it never gave me much problem in 22 years so when it went recently, of course during 90 degree heat, I went right back for another. Working with Valerie and the team is just a lovely perk of choosing Trane. I did get a quote from another company, trying to be responsible with my wallet, but I should not have wasted their time. Anyone reading this, they will treat you right...
Greg came and repaired our indoor fan motor on our Trane system. He charged us $400 for a new one installed, whereas Davis had just told us that we needed a new $5,000 entire unit. Then, we got a call a few days later from the Hodgesville office and they told us that our fan motor was still under warranty and they gave us the money back. Honesty and integrity are hard sought after traits these days but Greg Hodges epitomizes both and I highly recommend them.
Jrm review on google Hodgesville HVAC has become an undependable, and ineffective HVAC provider. I will tell you why. But first, I will explain why my comments are credible. I have been a long time customer - 15 years. I followed all the courtesies; scheduled in advance, paid on time, had several systems installed and subsequently serviced and even worked with them on occasion to reschedule because their crews were sent to "higher priority" jobs or were sick or otherwise absent. You might think I am a customer that Valerie Hodges, owner of Hodgesville HVAC, would want to keep. Today, Its clear to me Hodgesville has little regard for the notion of a long time loyal customer like me. Consequently, I am going to find a different HVAC provider. I will tell you the specifics: I was scheduled in advance for routine service today. I rearranged my schedule and delayed an out of town trip. About an hour after the crew was scheduled to arrive, Valerie told me she decided that since I am only routine service, she is going to send her crew to a higher priority job. She had the typical list of reasons (excuses); Its hot, we are slammed with calls, my system is working so I have cooling, its only routine service, one of her techs was sick last week, and on and on. It was clearly irrelevant to Valerie that I too have scheduling requirements, yet rearranged my schedule to be at my home to fulfill my obligation to be here for her crew. However, what finally convinced me it is time to move on is when Valerie said the since my system wasn't "broken" she was going to skip the job. She had a totally different spin on routine service several years ago when selling me a 3 year maintenance contract. It is astounding that an owner of a company would treat a long time loyal customer with such disregard. I need a service provider who will do what they have promised to do - at least an average degree of dependability -- i.e., show up to an appointment -- a pretty basic requirement. Hodgesville has degenerated into an unprofessional, undependable, and possibly dysfunctional service provider. I am going to find a new HVAC service provider (there are several good ones in the area including Trane Dealers). My advice to you if you consider using Hodgesville HVAC; Their technicians do good work so If you are willing to adjust your schedule about 50% of the time to fit their scheduling and disorganization problems then they might work for you. In contrast, if you need dependability, some level of professionalism, want to reduce the hassle factor, and still think a business relationship built on loyalty has value, then you may want to look elsewhere. There are other Trane Dealers who service our area and I suspect Hodgesville needs to feel a little competition to get their business performance to at least a barely passing level again.
They are very unprofessional and give poor service and they were given 300$ for not even an hour of work. They also made my mom carry tools for the serviceman because the serviceman couldn't carry them down a small hill. He didn't pressure check our A/C or look at any of the ducts/vents and just poured refrigerant and instantly packed his tools and left . It made it work for a day and a half, system still froze up and barely works again. The custom service aspect of this business is poor and half done, unresponsive and very rude and poor communication. I would not recommend them at all and the person who responds to these reviews is very unprofessional and has given out details about a customers personal and private finance situation.
Valerie and Greg are wonderful folks to deal with. They are very responsive and get the job done right the first time. Please do not hesitate to use them for your heating and cooling needs. I’m very difficult to please and they met my high expectations so I’m certain they’ll do the same for you.

They’re not a grading company. It’s the homeowner’s responsibility to make sure they have a level pad to install the unit on. I took time out of my schedule to make sure i had a level pad and you should’ve done the same.
We had this company come out and install a heart pump for us. It never cools like it should. One side of my house was hot the other would cool slightly. They have been out her a handful of times to fix it. Never gets fixed but charges us everytime they come out. Last time it was some bogus excuse of it was not insulated above the furnace. Shouldnt they have noticed that upon installing but however it did cool temperarly when it was first put in. Again its over 85 degrees in my house, no air of course. I do not recommend this company to anyone. Complete waste of money.
If you need a furnace or heat pump they're the ones too see. My dad had to get a new furnace and we went there the lady I think owns the company not sure but she gave us a price and she had them come take the old one out and had the new one in and running in a few hours. The workers were polite and really nice. Thanks for the great job. If we need anything else that's where we'll go. You should go check them out.
Did not do what they were paid to do still have frozen unit. And yes they were paid 300 dollars regardless from who. That didn't matter. Man was only here about 40 mins max. Made me sign paper work b4 he even did anything. Woman on phone was not very helpful nor Nice. Would not recommend this company NO matter who you are or how they get rich from doing nothing.
Great people to work with. I a issue with my heat pump and ask if he could come out and look and tell me what was wrong and how much it would cost. They came out after hours look the unit over and found a bad fan motor and AC capacitor.
Had my unit up and running in about an hour. Thank you Greg and Brian for getting things done
