I waited five days for the appointment. On the day of the appointment they called and informed me that nobody can come to fix my air-conditioner. The person who called was very rude. Stay away from that company. They are unreliable.

BEWARE SR CITIZENS AND MY FELLOW USAF RETIREES!!!!!

I was ripped off by Brauers. They were dispatched for a thermostat not responding to my A.C. Unit. They told me I needed a new unit. After 6 weeks of waiting (Jul-Sep) in Virginia heat they replaced the unit and made me pay them The unit would not start, they tried for one hour and finally ascertained that all I needed was a new thermostat. Quite the price difference!!! My new HVAC unit is missing heat strips which Brauers acknowledged and promised they would b back to install "before winter" Today I was notified they no longer want the work and now I have to get another company to come clean up their shortfall. However Brauers was paid in full for the complete HVAC system/install. I am a old lady who they took advantage of. Use another company. Run!

9/4/2020 review. A Brauers Mechanical Inc. technician named David, came out to my house today to inspect my house AC unit because we had a couple instances over the past two days where the outside unit wouldn’t turn on when it should’ve and I stayed with him during the entire visit. I explained to him what was going on and we walked through our garage where he stopped to look at the inside unit (but didn’t ask to inspect the inside unit any further) and then we walked outside for him to check the outside AC unit. The technician, David, recommended to have the outside unit serviced because at least one of the readings was indicating a reduced efficiency with the unit and he also recommended replacing the thermostat. After I signed the invoice and David called a Brauers dispatcher to inform them of the visit. I called the dispatcher (a female, but not sure what her name was) to schedule the maintenance and that is when she informed me that the technician, David, told her that I WOULD NOT ALLOW HIM TO CHECK THE INSIDE UNIT (WHICH WAS A LIE! DAVID NEVER ASKED TO INSPECT THE INSIDE UNIT). I didn’t have a problem allowing him to inspect the inside unit, if he would’ve asked… BUT HE DIDN’T ASK AND THEN HE LIED TO THE DISPATCHER AND TOLD THEM THAT I WOULDN’T ALLOW HIM TO INSPECT IT! We had our landlord call Brauers and ask for a different technician to come back out to check the inside unit and the female that he spoke to was very RUDE AND SHORT with him.

Response from the owner 10/12/2020:
Mr. and Mrs. Livingston were tenants at the home at time of the assessment. When the technician David asked to see the internal portion of the ac/heat unit he was told that that was not the problem and was denied access to review the furnace/coil. He recommended maintenance but we told tenants that we would have to be able to access internal portions to do a proper maintenance, that we could not be denied access to any portion of the system in order to properly do our jobs.
The tenants became irate and hostile in hearing this statement and called their landlord who called in to request a different technician and we told him at this time we did not have any other technicians available for same day service as they were on other calls. The landlord called back later and canceled the call.

My REPLY to the Owner's Response 10/12/2020:
I did NOT deny access to David (technician) to review the furnace/coil. He passed by it, glanced at it for a minute, BUT NEVER asked to look at it again. My wife and I did NOT get IRATE AND HOSTILE to the technician or the female dispatcher even though their technician, David, LIED and said that we did NOT allow him access to the inside furnace/coil and the female dispatcher was RUDE!!!
***I understand that this is my word against Brauers, BUT INTEGRITY is crucial for me as a commissioned officer in the US NAVY!!!***

Was assigned this contractor by my home warranty company. Poor communication and response time. Came out on the 9th to diagnose the issue turned diagnosis to home warranty on the 15th. Installed parts on the 23 by “Mr Brauer”and AC still not working on the 24th and can’t get back to reassess until the 29th. Called to ask to speak with owner and when inquired his name I was told “Mr Brauer” and that she will tell him I asked him to return my call and that she can’t make him do anything. She would not give me his full name. Very Unprofessional when either the diagnosis was wrong or whatever the case may be to have to wait almost another week to try and rectify the issue.

No offense but getting threatened to be black listed when setting up an appointment if I had to cancel an is not professional. The land lord wanted to use them but I would not use them if it was my choice. If they end up showing up I'll update based on the work performed.

I've got nothing but good things to say about this company and their employees. Both in installation and in service calls they have been nothing but professional, polite and done top notch work. I question the validity of the other reviews on Google given that my experience has been so great! I will use them again for all my HVAC needs.

Got assigned to them by our home warranty, (that normally send out some shady characters). Norman came out, was on time called on the way, and was very professional, and friendly. They did diag, and found a solution for me and my family. I would reccomend them

Michael who is the person who picks up the phone is super professional and makes your need a priority! This HVAC business makes the customers first, especially when it gets busy in the summer! They have integrity and will work hard even if it takes multiple visits to make sure the HVAV is running right! The manager himself came to my house to work on my HVAC. This is a business you can trust!
