Mr. Good Guy HVAC

I was very concerned after another local HVAC contractor told me my heat exchanger was cracked and I had carbon monoxide in my house. I figured I was in desperate need of a new furnace. I called Mr. Good Guy and asked for a 2nd opinion. I found Scott to be very honest, thorough, friendly and professional. He checked out my furnace and found that there were actually no cracks in the unit or carbon monoxide issues in my home. Although I can keep using my existing furnace I will be upgrading the unit to a much more efficient unit in the future. I know Scott is a great guy to call for honest and professional service. We recently had our AC unit go out and had a few contractors in to bid the project. We ended up doing both the furnace and AC since both were aged out. It was immediately apparent that Scott was more about finding the right system than he was trying to up-sell. He was very upfront, not to mention the lowest bid, and stayed late to complete the work the same day. Needless to say, we were very thankful for a cool home during the summer heat. Scott followed up the next day to see how things were going. I’d hire Scott again in heartbeat and can’t recommend him enough. You won’t be disappointed by choosing to do business with him.

I had a frozen condensation line from my heater in my attic that started to leak through our ceiling. We called Scott and he was at our house immediately to assess. He was able to stop the leak, thaw and repair the line to prevent any future damage. It could have been an overwhelming situation and Scott took care of it quickly. He is extremely competitive with his pricing and honest about what does and doesn't need to be done. I highly recommend him. Thanks!

Air conditioner and humidifier installation. Great, fast service. Very accurate and informative bid. No hidden costs or trying to push high margin products. I will use Scott's service again and recommend it to my friends. I wish other services took his job ethics and quality as an example.

Great service and great price. Scott is very fair and knowledgeable. He keeps you in the loop as to what he's finding and what it could cost. I like him as a person and as a service man. He saved us at least a thousand dollars on our A/C.

After a different HVAC company failed to show up more than once... I contacted Mr. Good Guy and they came right out. They were professional and nice as could be. They did a great job! Top notch integrity and high quality people. Scott came out on a home warranty emergency call late and replaced a leaking water heater and all was fine. When I had to call him back due to code violations called out by the gas company, he not only fixed the venting and upgraded it, but he also upgraded the furnace side too. He had a medical emergency that morning and Gina in the office (a total rockstar) handled everything and found someone else to still keep their word and get it all done despite all the stress they were under that morning. I had to share this publicly so everyone will know that this company backs up their work, sticks to commitments (even after-hours and during an emergency of their own), and cares more about what is "right" than getting a buck. Hard to find these days. I won't soon forget them and highly recommend them for plumbing and heating and air. -Mark

We had a furnace go out in the winter. Scott (Mr. Good Guy himself) was able to quickly come out and get us set up with a new furnace quickly and at a competitive price. When we next need an HVAC technician, we will call Scott.

Scott and his team came by and fixed our furnace. Spent the last two days with a 50 degree house and now we're back in business! Thanks! Will work with these guys again. The thing I most appreciate about these folks is that they're honest- have a hard time finding that in the HVAC scene in my opinion!
