Coy Dodd installed the original American Standard system from my brother-in-law 12 years ago. The outdoor coil developed a leak last Sunday. To get it running his wife called another company to come out. The other company charged the system but it wasn’t cooling again after not even 24 hours. The other company told them that the unit probably needed to be replaced. I reminded my brother-in-law to call Coy Dodd and get a second opinion. Coy Dodd’s technician Mark Rogers came out today found the leak within about 10 minutes. He repaired the leak in the system is up and running again. My brother-in-law and I are very grateful. I would definitely recommend Coy Dodd to anyone looking for top notch HVAC company. A lot of HVAC contractors just look at a 12-year-old system and tell the customer it needs to be replaced not Coy Dodd.
My mother had her air conditioner repaired by a gentleman with the name of David. He was a “TRUE “ professional and the service that we received was absolutely perfect. I would recommend Coy Dodd to anyone who needs to service their air conditioner. Outstanding company!

Air Handler Stopped working, No A/C or heat. Called and setup appointment for the next day when I could meet with them. They called right at appointment time to let me know driver was running 15 minutes late( good communication ). Tech arrived on site, checked thermostat, then the air handler, fuse blown. Tech asks if the lawn crew had been here recently(Yes) and the location of the A/C unit. We walked outside and he pointed out where the weed eater had shredded, yes shredded the wires which caused the fuse to blow. Five(5) whole minutes to determine problem!!! 45 minutes to run new wire and test functions of the A/C and heater. $150.00 total bill and 1 hour to diagnose issue and complete repair and get paid. Thank you.
I've used Coy Dodd exclusively for years. I called ETR out once and they told me I needed to replace my inside and outside unit for $2-3k. I called Coy for a second opinion and they fixed a belt on the inside unit and found a hole in one of the ducts that had been badly patched. They didn't even charge me to fix the hole permanently. Always friendly, knowledgeable and trustworthy.

The company re-engineered our HVAC systems including the re-routing of duct work, installed two furnaces and air conditioning units, installed a high volume vent hood for a large gas range, and vented all bath rooms and the electric dryer. The work is perfect.
Six months after the installations, Coy dropped by to make sure the dryer duct work was installed correctly for preventing animals from entering the attic. When I tried to pay for a service call, Coy jumped in his truck and while driving away refused to take payment. In 2019, where do you find another company with that level of service, a company that actually cares for its customers?
