Our unit is old and has been hit or miss lately and I thought it was time for a replacement, but looks like we can get a few more years out of it after Allen helped us figure out our issue today. After he made a few repairs, our unit has not shut off anymore and is running smoothly.

We have been customers of Maxx AC & Heating since 2014. We purchase the preventative maintenance coverage from year to year. The customer service desk is always very helpful and kind. I really appreciate the email notification explaining who the tech is, with his picture, and when the tech is on route to our location. The technicians are always courteous and knowledgeable, and arrive as notified. Any problems with our unit are fully explained and options given. Maxx AC & Heating is definitely 5-Star, and we fully recommend their services.

Made an appointment for spring inspection. Tech didn’t show during window, didn’t call. I called and had apparently been forgotten. Rescheduled for two days later. Tech called with 30 minutes notice, arrived on time and did the inspection. No attempt to upsell me anything, which I appreciate.

Will never use Maxx Air and Heat ever again. They installed new system in new construction and the TXV has already clogged. Of course it's just months out of warranty. They quoted $1200 to fix it. Sent a written quote...over $600 of it was the TXV. That TXV is $120 bucks local and online. Two other techs agreed it was the TXV but both said the only way it's clogged only two years old is that the system wasn't properly evacuated at install. Basically they just purged the system but did not evacuate the system. They obviously just trying to hit home runs on charges. I had the valve replaced for $450.... but did have to pay Maxx Air bill of over $200 just to check out their poor work to begin with. REPLY: This isn't the only issue with Maxx Air and Heat. Original system design was incorrect and was still under warranty and Maxx Air did nothing to rectify the situation. Wanted to charge more to fix a design issue they created. It was quoted high as well. You can compare prices all day long but the quality of the service has to be there to justify higher cost and Maxx is not on par with reputable competitors. This NEW install has had nothing but problems. They do not back their product. They don't try to remedy the situation...don't even check to see if parts are still covered by warranty. Been in the construction business for over 30 years and by far Maxx AC & Heating is the worst subcontractor I have ever dealt with. Reply to owner: Not about price...it's about you installing a brand new system that has nothing but problems and not backing your work. Price is the fact you want more money to fix what you didn't do correctly to begin with.
Maxx installed a new variable speed A/C system in our two story home in April 2018. With two thermostats it works well to set upstairs temperature different from downstairs. The crew were polite and professional and finished the work in one long day. They returned to make adjustments when requested. Maxx has been servicing our HVAC needs for over twenty years. We are very pleased with the company.
