Home warranty contractor initiated service from this company for hot water heater replacement. They came out and gave us an estimate. The company never contacted the warranty provider. I contacted them after 3 weeks and they gave the company approval to replace the heater after the company gave the insurance the cost of the heater. He “couldn’t find one”, left us without a hot water heater for 6 weeks. I found another company who found the tankless heater and installed it in less than 3 business days. After reading review for this company and my personal experience, no one should ever use them. Unresponsive, no communication, and failed to even work with the warranty provider.

I cannot express enough that this company should never be hired to do work on air conditioning units. My husband and I have just wasted a week with this company waiting for them to come repair work that had already been paid for. We hired them after discovering a small leak in our garage with a pancake sized spot on the ceiling and about that much water on the floor. The technician came out, “fixed the problem”, charged $180 and also recommended we should consider getting a new unit from them sometime in the future. This was alarming because our unit is only 7 years old, has heated and cooled regularly, and only had this leaking issue.
Two days later we found substantial leaking and now had a severely damaged wall in our garage, water spots in the entry way ceiling of our home, and water spots on the ceiling of the garage. We call the company again, and again, and again Friday – Monday and they continuously put us off or passed the blame. We hired a plumber at their recommendation to clear out one of the lines at the promise our leaking would be over after that. It wasn’t…another $200 down the drain. We discover ourselves that half of our drain pain is covered in rust, the bottom in some areas was paper thin, and the corners had rusted holes running down the edge. They promise a new drain pan on Tuesday after the holiday weekend and recommend shutting off our air in the 100 degree weather for the remainder of the weekend. Another technician comes out after we continue to call them as the problem worsens and worsens and he discovers “someone” left a cap off – their other employee or the plumber – and even showed signs of distrust in the skills of his own coworker.
Finally, Tuesday comes and we believe this company will be coming out to right their wrongs. At this point we have paid them $180, the plumber they said was necessary $200, and we have a $300 bid from a contractor to fix all of the water damaged walls. A-Pro Mechanical comes back at this point and says they want another $350 to finish the job. This is baffling. The owner, nor his employee, could even provide an itemized list of what these charges were based upon. I gave him one last chance on the phone to make a better offer – charging for parts only – or ANYTHING to make up for the fact that we now had substantial damage to our home, and have wasted a week, after paying their company to do a repair. The owner refused and I promised him a cancelled check and every effort in my power to let others know what horrible service his company offers. Since our struggle, we have been repeatedly told by others that they have heard the same about this company. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

I have used A Pro Mechanical on several occasions. I have never had to wait more than a day to get someone out to look at my AC Unit, which has had numerous problems. A few months ago, ants had decided to invade the contacter on the outside unit. The service guy showed up when he said he would, removed the contacter, cleaned it up, put it back together and didnt charge me a dime. These are good folks that take pride in their work and I cant recommend them enough.

My experience with them was very poor, it took them almost two weeks to come out and look at my ac, they had to order parts, well it took them almost another 3 weeks to come out and supposedly fix the ac. They had scheduled to come out before that but they were a no show and by no show I mean left work early to meet them and waited for them and no one even called to let me know they couldn't make it, This happened several times, They told me the ac was fixed even though I told them it didnt feel cool, I waited for an hour an my house actually went up a degree, i call guy immediately back once I realized for certain it wasn't working anymore, he said he would come back out again next week, well next week goes by and nothing so i call him again at end of week,and they say early next week, well i get home home Monday and it is 85 in my upstairs loft that we us as family room, i am not very happy at this point, i call them and i cant even get a hold of anyone so i left a very heated voicemail which i probably shouldn't have done but i was beyond frustated, i call next day and they said they wouldnt do business with people like me even though i already paid the service fee, but to be honest i felt relieved to be done with them

This is the BEST company that American Homeshield have to offer. I’ve owned my home fir the past 16 years and used AHS services for many of them.....,please contract with more companies like A-Pro!
