Bynums put a bid in for a new AC Installation for my home a little over a year ago. Was very happy with the install and the product, but have tried for more than 6 months now to get them to come out and service the unit that they installed. My wife and I have made numerous calls over the span of the last 6 months only to be told they were really busy and would get back to us. I even called the owner and To-date still haven't received a call back from anyone. I'm a big believer in giving my business to companies that bring value to their products by standing by the service that they provide AFTER THE SALE I can't speak as to why they wont give the courtesy of a follow up phone call or why they wont commit to a service date or time, but they have certainly Fallen short in the Customer Service Category IMO. I would not recommend them to anybody based on my experience.
I had a blower motor go out, I emailed Brad because it was after hours, and he returned my call at 630 the next morning. By 3PM his people had come to my house, trouble shot the problem, removed the blower, went back and replaced the motor and came back to my place and reinstalled. What AMAZING Service! All under warranty! This was my second review, here was my first: Brad worked with me to order the system I wanted. The installation was great and the price was great. Love my new system and Bynum's Heating and cooling. My new system is quiet and much more energy efficient.
Great company that is honest, does quality work to helping you with issues that arise. Brad and his gang are our first and only call for our heating and cooling needs. Lately however, they've become unresponsive to getting work done or even scheduled. They are a small company and sometimes go through staffing shortages I'm sure, but not returning a call ever is not a good look.
Had couple of different people work on my Rheem Classic trying to save a few bucks. One sold me a bad used contact for the price of a new one. It got so hot it melted one of the power lines off and was arching on the unit itself. Shorted out my thermostat and thought it possibly toasted my mother board on the outside unit. Figured it would never work right again. I finally got smart called a professional. Brad came out and wired it back up correctly in no time. Been working fine ever since. Highly recommend!
This company is a complete joke. I got a the drain cleaned on my HVAC. $80 by the way and the tech laughed and said it was completely over priced and showed me how to do it on my own in the future. I tried to pay the tech while he was there because I had less then 1month left in that house as it was under contract to be sold but he said he couldn’t take it and promised the bill would be sent out that week. It wasn’t, I called a few weeks later to try and pay the bill and no response back. 6 MONTHS later I received the bill. I called and the lady that was new, she just started 3 weeks prior and promised I had received the first bill and failed to pay it. I assured her I hadn’t and she argued with me and became extremely irritated until I mentioned she had been there for 3 weeks so how can she insure that I had, obviously she couldn’t. On the bill it says noting about being past due in fact it says past 30 day accounts will be charge 1.5% interest. I have no interest charges. The lady said it was because she was nice and never put the interest on there... right. Or it’s the first time it was entered into the system. I’ve received no phone calls, no bills, nothing on this past balance until now. Doesn’t sound like they take their business very seriously OR more likely a past employee didn’t turn in his work orders and NOW I’m being charged. Thanks Bynum!
One star is too many for this company. We were having an HVAC issue at one of our rentals and called this company to assess the issue and give us a quote. An appointment was made, someone went and took a look.... we were told we would have an estimate by the next day. Two days later, still no estimate... again someone went back out to supposedly take more measurements. This was 3 weeks ago and we have called over 10 times requesting the quote. The women who answers their phones is clearly disgruntled or needs medication, as she is so rude and dismissive that it's a wonder they have any paying customers at all. This woman lied every time and stated she would get ahold of the person who was working on our quote and get right back to us.... BEWARE!!! Don't waste your time with this rude, unprofessional company.
I was very pleased with the effort and concern the technician displayed on the service call. He was very thera and found the problem. He came back later that same evening to charge the system and made some future recommendations. Its been several days now and the system is working well. He did not try to up sale and was very honest, that's hard to find ..today.. I recommend. Joe
Excellent service! This company and its team members are top quality. Very knowledgeable and they don't gouge you on price at all. Wonderful job Bynums 5 stars and I will use you from now on.
