The technician who came out communicated appropriately between scheduling and arrival. He was courteous and extremely professional. He even helped us decide which filter to use and why. He could have easily just thrown one up and left but the personal touch was appreciated and I will continue using Thompson Cooling and Heating in the future.

We lost our cool air during the hottest day of the year and during a busy weekend. We made an appointment the early we could had hoped we could survive until then. Not long after making the appointment I received a phone call saying a repairman was in the area and wanted to help us out. Thankfully it didn't take long to get the air back on. I really appreciate the help we received today.

I would like to say that I have been very pleased on every occasion to hire Thompson Cooling and Heating, Inc. to do a job for me. I have had occasion to use them on many occasions for the past 25-30 years and they have always done an A-1 job. I would gladly recommend their service to any and all who may ask.

David, the owner, was very competent, but I have a problem with prices. When I made the appointment I was told that a service call was $79 but was charged $89. David replaced a capacitor and charged me $189 for the part. When I checked prices for the part he charged me about 10 times what I could have bought it for ($14.61 on Amazon). When your customer has to make decisions on the spot it isn't fair to take advantage of their ignorance on A/C part prices.

David made sure I had my heating problem fixed. He came over and made sure everything was working properly and explained to me what was causing the problem. He squeezed me in his booked schedule because he knew my elderly Mother was living with me and she needed heat in the house during these colder days. Also, with the one year Labor guarantee still in effect, he didn't charge me for it.

David was very professional and friendly. He was certainly an expert when it came to A/C systems and Heat pumps. His book was very informative and helped me understand what to ask and what to research before commiting to a project. After replacing my system, he made sure everything was in order and he eventually found a small leak which he had fixed immediately. I will definitly call him again for tune-ups and repairs.

Our family has used Thompson's for two generations over 30 years. We value and trust David's guidance with our hvac decisions and service needs.
