This company is first-rate. For years they have covered my semi-annual AC/heating maintenance, extending the life of my 3 units (for 3 floors); they monitor, clean, & repair with knowledge & speed, they are friendly and explain everything well. No challenge is too great for them, they get it fixed. Very trustworthy company - highly recommend.
I have lived in 3 different states and replaced an HVAC system in each state. We have lived in San Antonio, Texas three different times: 2 yrs, 3 yrs, and now 7 yrs. The point is...I have met & worked with numerous HVAC companies. There. Is. None. Better. A-OK is extremely professional. They have pointed out errors other contractors made and saved us thousands in damages from the other contracyor. They photograph any issue and send to me in a text to be COVID-careful so I do not have to crawl into the hot attic to look at the issue. Our technicial, Tony, is careful about everything he works on within our living space...never a mess. And even in the attic space...never a mess. If you don't hire A-OK, for your HVAC needs, I have failed to make my point.
If you want to do business with a respectable company, then look elsewhere; would give 0 stars if I could. The day before our appointment, a lady called me to set up an arrival window, which was a 4 hour window; not uncommon. I asked if they would be calling to let us know when they would be on the way, to which the lady responded, "they would call the same phone they just called," which was my cell phone. Again, nothing unusual. The problem started on the day of the appointment. I arrived at my house at the start of the window, and waited for 3.5 hours with no text or phone call from A-Ok Services. I needed to get back to work so I called my wife to come tag me out, and called A-Ok to tell them to call another number when they were on the way. I never even got a chance tell them to call my wife before the rude lady (the same lady that set up the appointment window), said that they notified me, that they are on the way. I told them that I never received any phone calls or texts from them, and asked what number did they notify. Again, very rudely, she said the same number that I called from (my cell phone). I again searched through my call and text history and did not see anything come through. She said well the technician is on the way, and I rebutted, ok my wife is on the way as well, and I asked if they could wait a few minutes if she isn't home yet. She then snapped and said that someone needs to be there, and that they texted me, and if no one is there the technician is going to leave. This is where I got upset with her, and I did raise my voice, and said no one texted or called. I waited for 3 and half hours and have no notifications. I again asked what number they used and she finally gave me the number they texted, which was not mine, it was my wife's (she can't have her phone on her at work). I lost it and said that isn't my phone number, and she fired back and said, well it's the same area code (we both have out of town numbers). I again pleaded, that this was a miscommunication, do not leave if there isn't anyone home, my wife is on the way. Very rudely she again states, we notified you and if no one is home they will leave. She asks if I still want them to come and I said yes and hung up. Well my wife came home and waited for two hours and no one came. She checked all our cameras to see if she missed them and no one came to the house. She tried to call them and no one answered. She called me at work and I tried to call, again no answer. Keep in mind, when I called earlier, the rude lady answered very promptly. Terrible company, terrible customer service, terrible manager (she said she was the manager when I asked to speak with her boss).
Thanks for the good service! We got help the next day, and it was faster than were promised. The problem with our AC was solved quickly and professionally. Thanks for your job and support. Good luck in your business!
Toni and his partner introduce themselves to us A-ok service they asked me what was wrong with my AC I told him that it was making some kind of noise and was blowing hot air they said ok Mrs Jackson were here to see what going on with your AC to get it fix they both went outside they said it’s your run cap they got it fix and it was raining bad too that day thank god they fix it bcruz I had 3 days with out the AC and my husband is sick he had a diabetic attack I just wanna thank them both so much for there service from Mr & Mrs Jackson
