Chris was amazing. He came out after hours on a Friday before a Holiday weekend. We have a complex system (multiple units, air scrubbers etc.). He was able to identify the issue and worked late into the evening to help us find the issue. He also gave us some great information and remedied a couple of maintenance issues that we didn’t even know about. Ex: a clogged drain line that tripped another unit float valve. Definitely recommend this company and if you get Chris you’ll get a guy that knows his stuff!

I found this company through reviews so I hope my review helps someone else save time, money, and select a more honest and reputable company who doesn’t take advantage of others.

After two days and two different technicians, both were informing me of different issues. They charged me $689 for a transformer, letting me know that would fix it. It was steep, but I agreed. Low and behold, my AC still would not work. They look at the outside unit and tell me the connection between that and the indoor system is severed and they’re not sure if they’re going to have to break into the concrete / sheet rock (HAHA, that one gave me a good laugh). Several hours later, they left and said someone would call me and they’d be back in early the next day. No one ever called, so I finally reached out in the morning and they were fully booked. So a different technician showed up at 5pm and told me it could possibly be the exterior board which would cost $3200 (LOL) but he said he didn’t want to get me a new one if that wasn’t the issue. (This was nice of him).

Guess what? My dad (who understands wires and has never worked on an AC before) fixed it for less than $45 from buying a transformer and a capacitor at a local AC store. Oh and we bought a board for storage from Amazon. For $86. Just in case, you know. The only silver lining is that I did get a full refund, to which was a no brainer considering they didn’t know what they were doing and also charged me for a part, saying that would fix the issue. What a terrible experience.

Edit: clarifying I called this company to service my home residence AC unit.

My heating system broke down overnight at the start of the weekend. I called Appliance & Air Care the next day, the tech was able to come out the same day, diagnose and explain my options, and gave me a few quotes. Once I made the decision, the professional-acting crew came with a new unit on the following day and had it installed with a few hours.

Bill, who took my call and managed the whole process, was very kind and professional (I called on a Saturday and he had some come out that same day; and then had a replacement crew out with equipment the next day, a Sunday).

Chris, who came out to inspect the equipment, helped me understand my options and what to expect with each. AACE should be happy to have him on their team.

Louis, who removed and installed an HVAC unit, did an amazing job. I was blown away by the care he took to keep my home clean, and he and his partner worked very hard to get the job done right.

Update: After a year, Bill and his team continue to be great. Chris was easy to schedule a maintenance appointment with. He put in great effort to deep-dive into a potential issue that I highlighted with our HVAC as well!

Yashua and Bill were great to work with! Both were very prompt with their communication.
I had to coordinate service with them on two consecutive days (day 1 for identifying the problem and day 2 for procuring the condenser motor and installing it)- and on both days, scheduling the appointment was a breeze. They worked around my schedule, so that was a bonus as well!

Then, once those simple fixes were ruled out, they were at our home the next day to diagnose and give us sound advice on options to fix in the most cost effective way. We had a brand new unit installed in May 2022. Bill and his team were able to provide an estimate and install the unit within one week.

I called Bill and he was spot on with knowledge about the HVAC unit. I decided to replace mine. Bill had his crew on the job in a timely manner. They worked hard all day putting in the new system. They cleaned up the job site, checked my unit, and asked if we were happy with the install. Bill came back by to recheck to make sure we were all happy with our new unit. If you want an honest person and professional installers, I highly recommend them.
