Thomas heating and air conditioning

My ac stopped working unexpectedly and my parents live with me. My Dad has Parkinson's with Alzheimer's with dementia and uses oxygen. I explained this and they were out the very next morning. It gave me chills of the empathy that I received on the phone. I am grateful Thank you for being so professional and punctual and explaining happened I appreciate you not leaving ensuring the ac was running!

We got the run around from this HVAC service....twice!! We finally had to contact our home warranty company to demand a different HVAC service technician. Then the new technician got us up and running within 45 minutes of arriving...after waiting 2 months for a part that apparently was never even needed in the first place! The part was ordered...twice...but was told the wrong part was sent...twice. A part my system didn't even need!! Come on...ridiculous! Either they don't know what they doing....or they know exactly what they doing.

We got the run around from 2 different AC repair companies for 5 days without any air conditioning before finally finding Thomas AC. He answered every phone call and was very understanding. He got us in the SAME day. After about 20 minutes our unit was up and cooling again. He checked everything and made sure it was staying on before asking for any payment.
We just wish we had found him 5 days sooner. Don't wait in the heat, just call Me Robert and he'll get it up and running. Highly Recommend.

Robert was great! I called my home warranty company and the first company they sent out was terrible and after they came out they kept pushing my follow up saying I was not scheduled for the next day. After a week with no follow up from the first company and 90 degrees in my house, I called my home warranty and requested they change my service provider They did and Thomas Heating and Air Conditioning was the second company to come out. Robert was able to come out same day and take a look at my system. He was honest and did a great job getting my house cooling again. I highly recommend Thomas Heating and Air Conditioning. They will be my go to company from now on for all my heating and AC needs.

If you want quality, efficient work done then this is NOT the company to call. This was probably the most incompetent contractor I’ve ever dealt with. Not only did he delay the fixing of my a/c unit a month but he didn’t even fix the problem. Within 1 hour after he said my a/c was fixed, my unit started leaking again. I had to call a new contractor the next day to fix what Robert didn’t. He left a gaping hole at the top of the inside air handling system he replaced where all the cold air was escaping out of so that it couldn’t cool my house. When he configured the piping for the backup flow, he had the piping flowing upwards which is what caused the leaking after he “completed” the job. He also ordered the wrong size air handling unit for my house which doesn’t work properly with my outside unit. He refused to acknowledge there was also a leak in my outside unit which was quite obvious. His work was sloppy and customer service extremely poor. I would never recommend use of this company to anyone.

Mr. Thomas is a nice guy, but not a technician. Very forgetful on replacing screws and pluging in fan and capacitor. I decided to do business with him this time, but I could NEVER do business with this guy again. He simply don't know what he's doing. He charged me for 2 pounds of freon and only pumped maybe one pound, then blamed it on faulty equipment (it was a brand new meter reader!!!). He just didn't know how to read it!! He also lied about having technicians in the field the day before, which was why he has to come. Then the next day, he said he was the only person and needed to hire someone! Very unorganized. Oh, he installed the wrong capacitor and now I need to get the right one and do it myself. Don't recommend this guy to anyone.

My family has been using Thomas Heating & AC for just over a year. We have used other companies before due to whomever our home warranty company sent out. But ever since using These wonderful people...we will never use anyone else. We will always request Thomas Heating & AC with our home warranty as well. Robert is so respectful and honest. He has come out to our house more than once in a random "it's hot in here!" phone call. He is more concerned with families being comfortable and cool in their homes in this hot Texas heat. After constantly being pushed to buy a new unit every single time other companies came out...and Robert said "No, lets see what is wrong with this and try to fix it for less first. If it doesn't work I will discount the new unit". He has worked tirelessly to make sure our unit has kept us cool without gouging us for more money. He is fair in pricing. Honest and trustworthy. He is also a very humble Christian family man. He runs this business with his wife. (I have also met her! She is a very sweet & lovely lady!) I would definitely recommend them to EVERYONE.

When has your AC guy ever come to your home and offered to help put a microwave up? Mine did!

I put a request through my warranty company last night. They sent Mr. Thomas’ information I called him at around 10:45 am today, he said he could make it between 6 and 8 tonight, when the time came and he wasn’t here I knew that in this 95 and above weather in Texas it would be likely he won’t make it and I said to myself, I pray that he would call and let me know that he got behind because of dealing with service calls. About 9:45 I got a call with an apology and asked if it was to late to come I said no sir, it is not to late, he made it here in about 10 minutes, still apologizing but ready to go to work. In 2 minutes he had diagnosed the problem started unclogging my drain and in 20 minutes or less was out of here and the dripping had stopped. I recommend him and will be telling all my friends about him.

I am beyond happy with mr Thomas he a honest man.
My home warranty sent him and he is amazing I was with out air for 7 days because another company said it was coming never show up finally the home warranty call mr Thomas show up fix it withing 3 days because a part needed to be ordered I have a 3 year old so it was so the air was so important to me just beyond grateful and will be using him for my AC maintenance!!!!!!!!!

So unprofessional
He walked off halfway through the job without finishing just because he got frustrated. Now my 88 year old grandmother is going even longer without a/c all because of some tiny drama.
