Did some shopping for an outside package A/C & heating unit. Ellis had the best deal around and it was installed in a quick and professional manner. I highly recommend Ellis for any of your needs

We have used the Cedar Hill location for Ellis AC and Heating for over 15 years and have been very pleased not only with the quality of the service provided, but also with the professionalism and courtesy of all their staff. Most recently one of our AC units stopped working in 100+ degree weather on a weekend. I left a message on Sunday and Julie called me back at 8AM Monday and they were able to have a tech (Denny) come out before noon. He diagnosed the problem (fan motor) and replaced it and we were back up and running very quickly. Denny has helped us several times in the past, but all of the Ellis techs we have been to our home are pros who know what they are doing and resolve problems. Highly recommended.-rwb

I have used Ellis AC & Heating exclusively for my HVAC needs since buying my house in 2003. The technicians have always been very knowledgeable and professional, and their customer service is fantastic. They wore masks inside my house during my recent HVAC replacement, and I really appreciated that. They are very good at determining the issue(s) with my system when they arise, and I trust them to give accurate, fair estimates. As long as I remain within their service area, I will continue to use Ellis, and I have recommended them to family and friends, as well - and I recommend them to anyone reading this review.

I highly recommend Ellis AC&H. Jerry came out and sat with me to give me an estimate and took all the time needed to answer all of my questions. I was given a very fair price for a great product. On the install day, the crew showed up on time and worked diligently and with great attention to detail to install my system. Preston and his crew were very professional and addressed all my questions and items I wanted to ensure were covered and checked. You won't go wrong with Ellis! I chose them out of 6 companies that I received quotes from and I made the right choice.

We had Ellis come out and do a full HVAC replacement. They were very professional and I felt very comfortable having them in my home. I received a few different quotes around town and I was happiest with Ellis' quote. We did have a hiccup where one of the technicians fell through our hallway ceiling during installation. Ellis went above and beyond to make it right. They sent out a contractor to install new sheetrock/ paint and texture, and then their guys came back to add more insulation.

I'm very impressed with their company and would 10,000% recommend them to anyone who asks.

This is a very professional company with polite, knowledgeable employees. Vincent and the rest of the guys were extremely helpful and careful while in my home. They did a complete HVAC replacement in near-freezing temperatures. I highly recommend Ellis.

We use Ellis Air Conditioning and Heating Cedar Hill for ALL of systems in our commercial buildings and our own home. They have done a home system install, building system install and many service calls throughout the years. The properties are historic and sometimes tricky to work in. They have always found creative ways to solve our “old building” problems and done so for an incredibly fair price. They are an amazing company, and the work they have done has always exceeded our expectations. They arrive when they say that they will and stay until the job is complete. Every employee that we have dealt with both in the office and on-site has been kind and respectful of our property and time. We HIGHLY recommend Ellis Air Conditioning and Heating.

Their team works great. Made an appt to get an est, set a date for replacement and that's it. They did a great job replacing my hvac system.

Our initial interaction with Ellis AC was pleasant, convenient and affordable. However, we recently moved in to our newly purchased home and one of the furnaces would not light. (Mind you, we had a full HVAC inspection less than 30 days ago from Ellis). We contacted them to see if they would come out and take a quick look at it without charging for the service call. We were told that a furnace is like a car and although it was recently inspected they have no obligation to come take a quick look for us, unless we pay the full service charge. We took our business elsewhere and paid the service charge. The technician at Efficient Home Solutions assured us that if we have any troubles within 90 days they will come out free of charge and take a look at it. Customer service is important, and this last interaction with Ellis cost them our business.
