Mend Services

Richard, the electrician came out and did a great job of trenching, running the conduit, wiring up and putting our hot tub o to operation. He was were courteous and respectful. The job was completed in a very to timely manner. I would surely recommend Mend services and Richard for any electrical and plumbing work.

Mend Services are a reliable, communicative, efficient, reasonable, fair contractor. We used them to renovate a marble bathroom and bedroom. Their quote was significantly less than comparable GCs that were approved to work in our building and they started on the date we requested and finished early. Each time one of their people was going to arrive, we would get a text with their name and approximate arrival time. The Project Manager, Darrel Sullivan, was outstanding. He was highly communicative, thought of every possible downside and planned for it, organized everything to suit our needs and timing - and in the end, cleaned the bathroom and bedroom top to bottom himself when they finished (because they're struggling like so many other businesses right now to hire). We are beyond impressed with every person we met from Mend and more importantly with the quality of their work.

Billy went above and beyond in helping me with my electrical needs. He was so professional and was able to quickly resolve entire problem. I will only use Mend for any future electrical or hvac needs!

Came to check out a poolbreaker box. Found out it needed to be replaced, gave me an estimate and said we’d have to schedule that later bc of the time schedule.

He could tell I was disappointed it couldn’t be same day so he called me after he left & told his office to make time for my issue to be taken car of today! They were able to move these around to help out a stressed out property manager with 17 million things going on!

We moved into our house during a hot weekend and the AC was not working. I called that afternoon and Rob from Mend came out that same evening and worked late to diagnose and try to fix. After needing to get a part overnight, he returned the next day and within no time our AC was humming! Their text messaging system is very convenient and they were highly communicative. These guys know what it means to provide a quality service and Rob went out of his way to make sure our family stayed cool. Thank you!

We did a complete window replacement on our new house in south Austin. The entire process was seamless with Mend! Brian managed our project and was extremely responsive, friendly and accommodating! Everyone went above and beyond - the attention to detail was outstanding. Definitely will be recommending Mend to everyone I know and will be using them in the future!

Was effectively charged $210 per hour for labor.

He kept pushing for things that ate up a little more time. Felt like we basically had the problem solved in an hour then He hung around re caulking a part and “checking for leaks” for another hour.

They give a two hour window between service calls and it felt like he did what he could to fill it.

Overall the work was performed well. The time management felt a little like a grift that justified the $420 dollar charge for changing a leaking faucet on a tub, not counting parts.

Tech Mr. Broussard was very knowledgeable about the Navien tankless water heater and explained everything in detail-thanks!

Tried to get a quote for an EV charger. Person came out to look at the job on Thursday morning. Said he would send the quote. Never got anything. I contacted them about it Friday morning. Was promised I'd get the quote by end of day. Nothing. Called Monday morning. Promised again someone would call me. Never heard from them. I called ABC Home and Commercial services. I have an appointment tomorrow with installation this week. Very disappointed in Mend Services. I wasted so much time on them. Very unprofessional.

Kelvin was early (!!) incredibly kind, patient and answered my million and one questions as a new homeowner. I strongly recommend MEND and Kelvin!
