Posting this under my GF's account since I don't have one. David, owner of Absolut Air in Silsbee, TX was contracted through my insurance carrier American Home Shield to complete an air conditioning service at my home on 6/10/16. David told me he would ask the insurance company to authorize replacement of a failing blower. David did not do this and acted annoyed that I wanted a failing blower replaced (it was making a lot of noise indicating a bearing about to fail) and upon my second request later he claimed he asked the insurance company and told me he could replace the evaporator coil but not the failing blower. I called the insurance company to check this since he was acting strange and they told me they had no record of him asking for the blower to be replaced. I confronted David about this and he held to his story. David left a mess inside my evaporator cabinet and didn't clean up after himself, and didn't fit the panel back on the unit right. The failing blower failed on Saturday 7/2/16 and David was listed as "on call" by his answering service on July 4 weekend. I called the insurance company and they told me to call David at Absolute Air since this would be listed as an ongoing repair under current contract authorized but not completed, they told me he would have someone on call that weekend. I called Absolute Air many times over the weekend and David's cell phone several times to get the air conditioner repaired again and David's answering service answered every time and said David was on call that weekend and each time they said they paged him, but he never returned any of my calls. Later during that weekend I called the insurance carrier American Home Shield, and reported to them that David did not call me back, and they said they would try calling him and if he didn't return their call within 1 hour they would call me back to discuss terminating his contract and getting another contractor to do the work. No one called me back the remainder of the weekend and we had to leave the house since it was too hot. On Tuesday, 7/5/16, I called David at Absolut Air again and was still getting his answering service who knew nothing and they paged him again. So I then called the insurance carrier again and asked if they have contacted him about service. They stated David had called them at 7:16 that morning to report he was repairing my unit. I said that was good news, then they told me to call David and discuss a time today. I still couldn't get David to answer his phones and the insurance company called back and a second lady told me she had sent David a new work repair order since her said he couldn't do the repair without an order. I called David and finally got him to answer his cell phone and he was very rude and told me he wasn't doing my repair because it is too much trouble. I told him the insurance company told me he was under contract to complete the repairs and he said he told them he couldn't do the repairs. I told him two insurance ladies both told me they had records of him calling them that morning and telling them he could make the repairs. I told David he needed to make sure he was telling me the same thing he tells the insurance company, and this wasn't the first time he had a different story as compared to the insurance company. He then said "well you called several times in one hour". I responded "well you were under contract with AHS to actually return a call since you are listed with them as being on call, and if you had bothered to do your job, you could have spent 10 seconds returning one of my many calls to tell me that you didn't want to repair my unit". He then hung up on me. I called him back and he hung up on me again. I then called he insurance company who said they still showed him as being contracted to do the repair work, so we now have to wait for David to tell them he couldn't do the work.

Incompetent one man show that had way too many chances to fix the unit. It’s been a week and we’re still dealing with 90 degrees inside. Having to start this process all over again. Absolut (hot) Air. Don’t bother
