Hawkins AC & Refrigeration

They do excellence work ,good job on the unit they installed. But they took a 5 ton unit out and told me a 4 ton was all I needed. The 4 ton does not do the heating. I even closed off 2 rooms and the unit stills runs most of the time. My electric usage is more than it's ever been!! Just don't let them under size you!!

We love using Hawkins! They are honest, hardworking, and affordable. They serviced our old heating and cooling units when we first moved to Abilene and installed brand new units and thermostat when it was time to upgrade. I always had my questions answered and felt like they did an exceptional job. Grateful for the work they do!

Long story short, they sent me a bill for $186, for showing up, doing nothing and leaving. Even though I called and cancelled. When I called to see why I got the bill, they said they'd get back to me. Today received another bill stating it was going to collections, they haven't answered phone calls from me. I'm contacting the BBB and the state licensing.

Hawkins is a customer focused business. Their employees are well trained, professional and knowledgeable and consistently meet our expectations. Our tech has been providing us service for three years. He always arrives at the stated time, performs his designated seasonal maintenance tasks, and provides a summary report of the status of our A/C system. The few times we have had a repair issue, Hawkins responded in a timely matter and fix the problem in a cost effective manner.

Hawkins AC is just an excellent company overall! The Customer service and technicians are truly above average in assisting you and taking care of your ac needs. Four years ago we built a house and had Hawkins AC install our AC system -now we know made the best choice!

If I could give this company more than 5 stars I would. From the beginning doing business with Hawkins AC, I have been so impressed with literally everything they do. I had used another local company who installed my Carrier central AC and spent $11000.00 to have everything replaced inside and out including all new duct work. When the brand new system failed I called the installing company only to be told they would get to me when they could. I called Hawkins as they are also Carrier installers and I was shocked and very pleased when Mr Hawkins personally came out to assess and make sure my problem was taken care of. Since that time, which was several years ago I have used this company exclusively and they do all the preventative maintenance on my unit to keep it running like new. They have relatively no turnover in employees so I know all their service people personally and they are all very professional. Love talking to Pam in the office when she schedules my service maintenance. My final statement is this: You can go with all the cutesy advertised AC businesses in town but if you want real quality service I recommend Hawkins. They don't waste time with goofy commercials on tv. They just do great work.

Had an emergency with an older system that was installed poorly. Tom and his crew were professional and personable able to quickly work out a good solution and get our AC up and running in no time. Had another issue just a couple eeeks later and Tom put us at the top of his priority list for first thing to resolve it.

Hawkins AC & Refrigeration has been my supplier and service specialist for about 40 years. I have been very pleased with the Carrier equipment that they provide. They take an engineering approach to all of their installations
and their systems work well right from the start. Their service people are very well trained and knowledgeable on the equipment. When you do have a problem, their response time has always been good.

Hawkins A/C always shows the utmost professionalism. They show up when they say they will, even though we live out of town. The charges are actually what they quote them to be and there are no surprise charges. When you call the office they are so courteous and do everything possible to take care of any problems. We just put in a complete new system and we chose Hawkins because of our previous good experiences with them.

The guys were right on time!
Very professional, Curtious, worked hard, Cleaned up everything after installing new system!
Then the Technician came out to explain & show how the new system works!
