Chickasaw was paid to service the AC at the house I was closing on to make it run better (it worked ok, but not super great). At closing, I was told it was working great (had been serviced that week) and had even had the capacitor changed- I was given a receipt for this. I get in the house on Thursday and it is 85 degrees- nothing would make the AC turn on. Technician comes out and tells me the expansion valve is broken and they cannot get a new one till Monday. I am told that the valve was working a couple of days ago when they serviced it and that valves break all the time. He said he liked pistons but it would not be possible to convert the valve to a piston as this would also make the system less efficient. Friday, I called and asked if there was anyway to get the valve on Friday. I was told they found a valve and would replace it that day. The technician comes and "fixes" it, but when I pressed where they found the valve he confesses that he converted the valve into a piston. Keep in mind, yesterday this was impossible and I was lied to multiple times on the phone about finding a new valve. Over the weekend, the AC gets to 58, and it is set to 75. I even try turning off the system but it is still 58 degrees. I really don't want to look at my energy bill for that weekend. I call early on Sunday and I have to call 4-5 more times throughout the day being told each time that a manager has been contacted and a technician was called and they were shocked no one was calling me back. Finally, a technician comes over late in the day and says the thermostat is broken but does not have a new one. (I suspected the thermostat was broken and asked him if he had one over the phone and he had said yes in the car but then did not have one). I was told they would give a call in the morning and a heads up before coming tomorrow to replace the thermostat. They never did. We had to call again to get someone to come out. Now I am just crossing my fingers it is fixed.

In summary:
1- After fooling with an AC system that worked- the AC was broken (valve and thermostat that was working "great" when they had "fixed" it a week ago).
2- They lied about finding a valve and switched my valve to a piston without getting my permission for this.
3- They lied about being able to convert a valve into a piston
4- They lied about multiple things several times times ( I still have not heard from one manager. I have asked for one more times than I can remember).
5- If you deal with them prepare for a huge electric bill, a huge phone bill, a lot of time waiting around, and a lot of lies.v
