Patriot Mechanical / Chaffee Air

I called Chaffee HVAC to set up an appointment for them to come on a Friday and give me an estimate on new mini ductless system in the basement and major renovation to the upstairs system.

They agreed to come out. On the day of expected arrival, I called to get an expected time of arrival and was told they could not come. I understand that things change so I discussed with them to come out the following Tuesday. On Monday I called and text from my cell and no answer and no response to the text. My calls were seemingly “blocked” and went straight to voicemail. On Tuesday morning same response. I used my work phone and got an answer. The person stated they would be at my house at 5pm. I left work 10 min early so not to be late. After 5:10 pm I called and text without response. After 45 minutes the had not arrived and no communication as of 10pm.
this company is not to be trusted and not reliable. I would never use this company

One of our air-conditioning units quit cooling the morning before having out-of-town guests arrive. Michael Fernandez was on site quickly, diagnosed the problem and a new part installed. Michael was so polite, extremely knowledgeable, thorough and professional. He also wore shoe covers in the house to keep our floors clean. This was such a good experience. Thank you Michael and thank you Chaffee Heat and Air!

Chris is so great! He cleaned out the drains at my rental and did a good job and impressed my renters. It's so nice to be able to call and get same day service for a good price. I will be using this company again with my rentals.

Chaffee came out, diagnosed my heating problem to a collapsed return duct as a result of some other Crawlspace work. My technician took the duct apart and reinstalled it and got things working quickly. Great job. Highly recommended. Bill

We have numerous split unit/ductless heating & air units. After the previous company we had been using discontinued full maintenance as a part of their standard service agreement (and yet continued to charge the same amount fir less service), I found Chaffee/Patriot. Renee, in the office, was just wonderful to work with based on our needs and very understanding. They were able to send out 2 technicians in a timely manner. They performed a COMPLETE maintenance service on our units. They were professional, knowledgeable, thorough, friendly, and, in my opinion, gave a good value for our money. I give my highest recommendation to Chaffee/Patriot and will definitely continue to call them in the future.

Called in Friday as a HVAC friend told me my unit needed to be cleaned. I spoke to three companies and felt the first two were looking for ways to get more money BEFORE they even saw my unit. I spoke to Aaron at Patriot Mechanical who advised me of a service fee what it would cover and then told me of their service contracts. I had a horrible experience with a service contract previously with a different vendor. My service man Michael was on time, explained how the unit worked, was very through, had the work completed as previously stated and explained the benefits of a service contract. This company is highly professional with work done right and timely. I highly recommend them and my service representative Michael.

USE THIS COMPANY!! In all honesty, highly recommend this company. My heating system went out on 1/23/23, and it is a two year old system. I called a different local company to take a look at it and diagnose the issue. After 3 hours, the other "tech" had wracked up over $500 in charges, having never explained he was doing anything that was charging me, or asking permission to use something to charge me. I dismissed that company, and was referred to Chaffee to fix my heating issue. WHAT A WORLD OF DIFFERENCE. They came out within an hour or so of me calling this morning (approx 9:15am) and had everything fixed within a couple of hours. Hunter is the absolute man!!! Any time he needed to do something or change out a part, he came to me, explained what he was trying to accomplish, and the cost of each part to me, and any other options available. They respected my house and wore covers for their shoes, and were the epitome of professionalism. Payment/Invoicing was seamless, and I will be calling Chaffee moving forward for any heating/air issues, and will refer them to anyone that will listen. Good quality service goes a long way, and Chaffee just solidified me as a customer today. If you are in a lurch and need professional and quality fixes and reasonable prices, you could not find anyone better than Chaffee.

P.S. - I'm not kidding, Hunter is amazing, if you can request a tech, definitely try getting him!

The only company I have used for 14 years! Michael called before coming today. He was very professional, well spoken, courteous and skilled. Gonna miss Rex (former owner ) but glad to see Aaron (new owner) is carrying own the great service and tradition of employing veterans! Go Navy!

I recently had service by Chaffee Air. The technician arrive promptly and preformed service on my head and air unit. It took app 45 minutes start to finish. Price was good. Ready for the summer heat.

We're always happy with Chaffee for our hvac needs.... Both annual maintenance and any issues that may arise. Michael was professional and courteous today, definitely recommend both the company and Michael!
