We determined the 16 year old unit needed to be replaced, so we negotiated a price...when they came to install the unit on Saturday morning, they discovered the ductwork wasn't installed properly 16 years ago...bottom line is that the new unit would not work properly or be efficient...we have had issues in the back bedrooms and upstairs since we purchased the home three years ago, but just thought it was the unit's age...in order to help us out, since they were not obviously planning on doing ductwork, they provided a portable ac unit that we could vent through a window...it made the situation easier to tolerate...they returned Tuesday morning and started the process of replacing the ductwork...Doug, leader of the team, along with Anthony worked very hard to remove the old and install the new ductwork...Reid came and worked very hard on Thursday, as they stayed late and got the unit up and running...Doug's insistence on quality was much appreciated...it was about doing it right...they did some things they did not have to do, just to help us out...on Friday, Jacob and his partner (sorry, do not recall his name, but I know he was new) came and fine tuned the system, which now has a thermostat upstairs and downstairs...after they left, I discovered that our hot water did not seem to be working, and since this was a gas unit, I guessed it was related...I called and explained the situation to the office team, and shortly thereafter, Jacob called me back...a short time later he drove back, and discovered that the pilot light had gone out on the water heater...he proceeded to fix, and apologized that he did not catch that on the initial review...I was happy it was just the pilot light...I spent many years in customer service during my working days, so I feel I know what good to great service looks like, and this team delivered just that...I would have zero hesitancy to recommend Keith and his team for HVAC needs and service...as a matter of fact, based on our experience, I would highly recommend them for HVAC!
