Keith Powell Heating and Cooling

We had a very negative experience with Keith Powell. We called for service when the wire between the thermostat and HVAC unit in our home shorted out and the service call was very unsatisfactory. The technician showed up an hour outside his service window, was rude and surly throughout the appointment, acting as if our needing help was an imposition on his time, and ultimately quoted us an expensive solution that would take several hours to implement and involve punching holes in our drywall to run a new wire.

Fortunately, I didn't trust the report he gave us and called Advanced Heating and Air in Knoxville to get a second opinion. They showed up on time and ran a new wire in 20 minutes for less than a fifth of Keith Powell's price without doing any damage to our home and were friendly and professional throughout. The juxtaposition really couldn't have been more jarring.

First time ever using Keith Powell Heating & Cooling! Had a great experience with the company! Will never use anyone else but them! Very fast and friendly service when we were without a/c. They made me feel like they truly cared about me as a customer. Would refer them to anyone!

Both the technicians I worked with were great. They showed up and did the work as promised. The problem I had was that the company charged me more than what I was quoted. I was told that I didn't provide The right information for the job I wanted completed. I'm sure that I did, and I aslo asked if they needed to come look at the job before they quoted it and they declined.

Part of a home warrenty service call. Replaced a part and said freon in ac was good. Ended up having 2 pounds put into the ac and acid washed along with a fan motor being replaced. Needless to say someone else received the business they had the chance to do right the first time

Can't say enough good things about Keith Powell Heating & Cooling. When I told them my heat was out(on a Friday)and my 92 year old mother lives with me, the dispatcher contacted the tech who agreed to work me in that day. The computerized motor on my HVAC system had blown and they didn't have one in stock. Tuesday afternoon the tech called to say the new motor had just arrived and he would be out shortly to install it. I really feel they went above and beyond with their service."

I've called them twice now (for two unrelated issues). The first tie, the tech diagnosed and fixed an electrical problem an electrician couldn't find or fix. The second time, the owner himself came out and fixed the problem within 15 minutes.

I'll call them any time I have a problem and I know I'll be in good hands

My insurance company sent them to find out my heaters problem. I was told by Matt that I needed a heat exchanger . I called there office and asked why he thought that and one of there guys told me because he put his hand in and felt a crack in the heat rcchanger so I told whoever I was speaking to that I would watch them do the work so that they can show me the cracks when they take it out and he said to me then I'll just have to charge you more if your going to bother there guys while they put it in. I said I wasn't going to get in anyone's way and we hung up. I decided I would get another option , in fact I got two other options. Both options from two different companies told me I had no cracks in my heat exchanger that it was perfectly fine. I would of spent $1575 on something I didn't even need . I don't trust this company at all. Before they do any work for you if you decide to use them , watch what they do and have them show you the broken part , but don't leave them alone , stand out and watch what they do !!! I don't recommend them , I think they scam people if they can get by with it . It was the inducer motor going bad Not the heat exchanger , so it was a lot cheaper to fix. I hate dishonestly so I don't recommend Kieth Heating and Air Conditioning at all !!!!!

I liked that the people that came to our house looked cleancut and trustworthy. I liked that the man installing the heat pump had his adult sons workíng with him. They seemed like a loving and hardworking family. I trusted them.

Very first service call had to have somebody come out since they put my unit in in 2014. Called yesterday they had somebody out here first thing this morning. technician explain to me what he thought it was fixed it still under warranty only had to pay the service call charge. awesome

Justin came to my house during the 2 hour window that was given to me. He was professional and was able to fix the problem quickly and efficiently. I would definitely use them again!
