Was in search of a $4 capacitor and these guys wanted to charge me $106 for it along with a $140 fee for a visit. I went with Conner Heating and Air and they sold it to me for $10 and even met me in town. I'd recommend them over Bill Owens any day.

Bill Owens Heating & Air was the most honest out of all the companies we dealt with. Some gave estimates knowing they couldn't make good on, others barely took a look at it before quoting us, etc. The guy from Bill Owens did a full walk-through, laser-measured every room, checked crawlspace, insulation, windows, breaker box and electrical meter, gave us a full estimate for cost, but refused to put in anything until we fixed certain problems, because he knew we'd only have to redo it and lose a lot of money.

Speaking as a technician myself, only good people refuse a job on the basis of saving you money.

Quality, quality, quality! I cannot say enough positive things about my recent install. These guys are professionals from start to finish! So glad I found them. This is my 4th complete install in various homes and without a doubt the very best I ever encountered. Don’t waste your time shopping around this is the best company for HVAC out there. I was and still am completely worry free about my system. Geez I could keep going but hopefully if you read this review you get the picture. Thank you again Bruce for assembling such a great group of guys, showing extreme professionalism and providing quality craftsmanship. Oh you will be performing my preventive maintenance for the life of the unit (or me!) I won’t go elsewhere.

I called them to repair my central unit. Guy put freon in and it worked good. I'd forgotten our house has a home warranty. I called them to ask the tech to call Choice HW with the diagnosis. They flat refused because I didn't tell them the day the tech came out. Also, they have issued with home warranty companies not paying much on calls. So, I'm stuck between them. The HW company won't pay me back until the tech calls. The company won't call them. I've lost my money on the repair now.

They always do an excellent job, for a reasonable price. They make good recommendations for options to deal with problems . They are a pleasure to do business with.

It seemed awful warm and, lo and behold, the thermostat said 80. We called Bill Owens and got voicemail. As promised, we had a callback within 5 minutes. The elapsed time between making the call and having cold air again was less than an hour. That's how you do it!

I arrived at my house after a long time away to find that the air conditioner was not working. It was 84° inside and I have three small children including a baby. Plus it was 8 p.m. on Saturday night - but I'd used Bill Owens heating and air before and called them. Shane came out and fixed the air conditioning, and it cost me $115.
No overtime no weekend, no anything. Love this company.

Our 20 year old unit was replaced by the team of Joey, Keith and Barry the best installers, no problems. They were ON TIme, with ALL tool s and equipment for a smooth install. There was no mess they cleaned and checked to insure nothing was left behind. This was our 2nd unit installed by Bill Owens the first unit was only maintained by them.
