I've been here 3 months and I love my job. I am an inventory Clerk. It's fun for me and everyone is very nice. And managers are very nice and understanding. They try to work with you on hours and personal life. I love my job. I also love the overtime.
My experience with this company was the worst I was a forklift driver and as a driver you're basically having to move throughout the warehouse with moving materials for the workers. When I first started I was basically told by everyone that no one was able to drive a hyster (which is basically bigger than a regular forklift) because of the size of it which didn't mean anything to me because I'd been driving forklifts since 12 for my dad at construction sites. So I was under the impression that most employees/supervisors there (especially the white people) didn't think I wasn't capable of doing my job which didn't bother me because they didn't know my history. Keep in mind that the only other forklift driver was supposed to show me around and introduce me to all the stations and supervisors so I could know when I was radioed to pick something up. So I had to figure that out myself because no one ever introduced me to anyone. I wasn't bothered by that because I never expected anyone to do that honestly. So I finally started to learn the place and suddenly come to find out at that time this place had over 200 illegal immigrants working here DHS came in and put a end to that. So for a while this place was scrambling and I had only been there a couple of weeks. The entire time this guy named Mike (who looked like Thelma from Thelma and Louise) was always being rude and just plain cocky towards me but from what I was told he does this with a blacks. So one day I accidentally dropped the wrong hopper full of metals in the wrong ben and I get a call over the radio for "ALL FORKLIFT DRIVERS" to go and pick everything up. Funny no one came but me so I picked out as much as I could by myself for about an hour and explained that to the manager Keith everything seemed fine so went on about my day. The next day I was starting to get irritated by the other driver constantly stopping and blocking my path when I was coming through with items and him nonchalantly not caring about the job I was trying to complete, so I told the manager Keith that I didn't think his so-called team speech didn't resonate with everyone and I gave him examples. So he said he would take care of it. This occurred on Saturday. Monday I come to work as if it's a new and 2hrs after me working one of the other supervisor comes to me and said that they wanted to talk to me and took my keys I knew then something was up. Me, the Supervisor and Hr lady named Cathy went into the break room and they asked me why was I here because I had been fired on Friday. I was like this was news to me because I had had a long conversation with Keith on Saturday and he never mentioned this on top that he had prolonged the meeting until the end of the Saturday shift to talk with me. Cathy stated that I was lying and that he had fired me Saturday and that's what we were discussing. Smdh....Then she also said she had contacted the temporary service and said she told them that my assignment was over on Friday. So not only did United Enertech do me wrong but so did Right time Right staffing (CDS is the new name) because come to find yes they called (from a personal cellphone) but they didn't leave a message indicating why they called so of course I went to work not knowing this, but leave it up to Cathy to say I knew that had been fired. So apparently I still showed up at 5am (on time) to work for a company that just fired me 3days prior (who does that) and work as if I knew. Another thing I will say is that most of black people working there would tell me to be vigilant because most of the black drivers don't last long, even though they had a white man who worked there and tore up the entire wooden floor in the original workshop because he was mad and then he also was a terrible driver and the only reason he was let go was because he tore up someone's car in the parking lot while using his cellphone and was caught on camera using his cellphone at the time of the accident. So if you black and want to work there BE VIGILANT!!!!
A terrible place to work. Low wages, incompetent managment, also employs illegal aliens. That in itself isnt terrible, but its the reason for the low wages.
Has been an awesome experience working with our Site manager Gabriel very sad to see him leave the company… best thing that happened to United enertech was having him as a boss !!!!!

I used to work here it was all right at first learned a lot. But the turnover is very high. Would only use as a stepping in stone.
