Even with running water over night, the cold still got to my pipes and busted the water feed for my fridge. Carolina Heating was the first out of 6 companies I called that were even able to answer. Conner and another gentleman (I didn't catch his name) showed up within 4 hours of my first call to the emergency line. They explained me the issue, capped off the pipe I wasn't using that had busted, and had my water back on within an hour. Incredibly nice and professional. Thank you guys so very much!

Very happy with my experience with Carolina Heating throughout the whole process. They first came out to inspect AC/heat that was no longer working and unfortunately we had to replace the entire unit. They wrote up all the items that were wrong and gave an estimate for repairing the existing unit vs replacing it and after having multiple people look over the existing unit, it made sense to just replace it as it was pushing near 30 years old anyway. Their estimates were a little higher than expected and we reached out to some other companies for better pricing but in the end their sales rep, Gordon, was able to work with us for a decent discount and the extra costs over other installers were justified in how professional and timely they handled the whole installation process. Rick and Chris showed up right on time, kept me in the loop on progress, thoroughly cleaned up their work, and most importantly did a great job getting the new unit in place and working well. Pictures attached of the finished unit in place with a couple of my dogs that love to have their photos taken as well.

We absolutely trust the Technicians and Carolina Heating both are ALWAYS providing above and beyond when they service both our HVAC and generator. Too bad they don’t have more than 5 stars to chose from. We once tried to cheap our way for a new HVAC had it less than a year couldn’t get the other company to come fix it so back to Carolina heating we went. Customers for life.

You don’t really know how good a company is until you have an issue. Our first experience was pretty smooth, but our second got a little rocky. At the end though the issue was resolved and we are getting good service.
Glad there are companies that don’t get so big that they cannot provide individual service. Thanks Scott for developing a company we can depend on.

Called before Christmas because my heating system was blowing cold air. Paid for the service call, the tech said it was a bad compressor. My heat pump system is only 4 years old and the compressor goes bad. I was told it would be $1602.00 service charge and I had to pay $801.00 upfront to order the part. They could not locate a part in the US so I had to wait for them to find one. A couple of days ago they had the part and came out to install it. I paid the balance and they left. The tech said to give it time and it would start heating. Well it never heated and I called the next day and a different tech came out and said the flow valve need to be replaced because trash probably got in it from the bad compressor. I asked did they not check it when they were changing out the compressor. They said they blew it out but sometime you can miss a tiny particle. Long story short, now they want to charge another $1600 to change out the flow valve. I am so frustrated right now and when my service maintenance plan that I had just bought is up, it will be my last dealings with this company.

Ryan came out this morning responding to an e-mail I sent last night regarding no air coming from vents. Now is not the time you want anything to go wrong with your AC, but wrong it went. I had a similar situation when my unit froze solid. He tested the unit and found it was low on a refrigerant that has been banned. So I can’t recharge it. So I have to look at a new unit. He was able to get a sales rep out here at 1pm to see what my options are for a new unit. They work fast and we’ll. This is my 4th time using them.

Did spring checkup of HVAC. Installed 2 sensors in drip pan to shut off AC if the sensor(s) detect a problem in/with the condensation pan. The tech clearly explained what was done and showed pictures of the newly installed sensors. Also explained the rusty brown discoloration on an exterior wall was related to rust in the condensation pan.
