    Very professional, explained the issue to me thoroughly, and gave me suggestions on a realistic and reasonable service plan going forward so that I could prevent having to call for an after hours service call - such a huge help! This company came highly recommended by a very good family friend and we couldn’t have been more pleased. Jon was fantastic and we were so grateful to have a house cooling down in the middle of July! This company is the best there is!!

    Jonathan shows up on time and in a reasonable time frame. Very professional group! Took pictures and explained everything throughly, which was much appreciated for someone who doesn’t know two things about AC systems. Quoted for a repair and replacement. Very happy 😁

    I chose this company after being referred to me by real estate agent to inspect my HVAC before purchasing my townhome ($125). The unit was inspected as needing some small repairs but being in good working order. I moved forward with the purchase of my townhome.
    Within a month after inspection, my AC wasn’t working. I called them back out ($89) to diagnose the issue. The compressor failed and the unit needed full replacement.
    They offered to replace the compressor only for $2800 more after telling me it is no longer being made and hard to find parts for as their way of making amends. Full replacement is around $7-8k. (Higher than other companies)
    So, as of now I’ve paid this company $200 to tell me that the unit was old but working properly and within a month to tell me it was outdated, broken and completely useless.
    Had they stated in the original inspection that it is outdated and at the end of its life and they recommend replacement. I would have been able to negotiate this fact with the seller of my townhome and not be in this predicament. Which in my opinion, is the issue here.
    I put my trust in their experience and I was let down and wasn’t offered a fair discount or price on full replacement of the unit.

    Compare with Cool care company batter services and cost.
    Midstate is always batter cost and service

    It’s refreshing to find a company that does the right thing. Four years ago, we bought a Daikin system from Mid-State. The unit never worked well and required a lot of service. I complained to the company and I wrote a letter to Daikin about the problems I was having, and within 6 weeks of my writing to Daikin, Mid-State and Daikin replaced my system with a new unit at no cost to me. They even told me they were going to return the old unit to Daikin so they could examine it to improve their products.

    My Christmas angels! On Christmas morning, I woke up to a house that wasn't as warm as I was used to. About an hour later, I began to smell something burning from the vent. Panicked, I shut off the system and Googled a burning smell. It confirmed my worst suspicions that I needed help, ASAP. Being that it was Christmas day, my home warranty provider wouldn't be available. I called Mid-State and they were out in a matter of hours. The receptionist was the sweetest and I can tell she's committed to the best customer service. Jon, the tech that came out, was very professional and got my heat working again in less than 48 hours! It is so refreshing to know there are people committed to helping others. Thank you isn't enough to describe how much I appreciate everything they've done.

    I did not like the installation of the gas lines under our house from the original installation (by another company) and we were getting a gas fireplace installed so I needed a new gas line run to its location so I called Jon. (They have been servicing our unit for a few years.) The tech installed the new lines but not quite the way that Jon and I had discussed. Jon promptly returned and corrected the job. They are good people.

    Mid-State professionalism is 2nd to none, they make you feel like you are priority to them and not just a customer!
    If I ever have any hvac problems they be my solution and first choice.

    Technician came to repair the HVAC after a post-storm power surge. Spent hours looking and inspecting only to relay that the issue was electrical (not enough power) and not related to the HVAC … so he couldn’t do anything. He even went further to say that other appliances like the fridge weren’t getting the right voltage either (turned out to be a completely false statement). We paid him/them and they left us in a still freezing cold house. The following day we had an honest and professional HVAC service come out and within 30 minutes they’d diagnosed the issue as a blown transformer on the unit. I asked if that was a difficult HVAC issue to diagnosis and was told “anyone who repairs or maintains these units should see this quickly and easily within minutes.” I whole heartedly do NOT recommend this company.
