    I called another company to fix my heat pump but they couldn't come out for 2 days. I then called Mr. Youmas at 4:00 in the afternoon and he said he'd be right over! Within 10 minutes, Mr. Youmas was at my house, troubleshooting my heat pump. He quickly determined that I had a problem with the thermostat programming, and since there wasn't really a problem with the unit, he didn't charge me for his services. In my dealing with Mr. Youmas, I found him to be very knowledgeable, polite, and professional and I was very happy to discover that he is a retired Navy veteran as well. In the future I will certainly use Youmas Heating & A/C for all my HVAC needs. I will gladly recommend him to my friends and neighbors in the Archdale, North Charleston, and Summerville area of South Carolina.

    I am very dissatisfied with the services I received from Youmas. First, the company came to service my AC unit and knocked a piece of siding off my house which they did not replace before leaving. Additionally, they did not secure the copper wires and piping to the house, instead, they left them hanging off the back of the house. The wires connected to my unit in the attic were literally moving with the wind. They also left a hole (from the outside of the house to the attic) where the piping feeds into the air handler instead of filling in around the line.

    After servicing the air handler, the system backed up and leaked into our attic, causing damage to our ceilings throughout the upstairs. When they came back out, they said that the drain pipes were not cleaned when they originally serviced the handler. They were the ones who serviced our unit in the beginning.

    After weeks of waiting for THIS issue to be resolved, we realized that our unit was not cooling properly. Our home would not go below 80 degrees even when the thermostat was set at 60. After finding "nothing wrong" with the unit, Mr. Youmas told me that the issue could lie with the duct work; however, he was "not climbing under the house" to check it!!!!

    So, we are not having to hire another company to find and solve our issues. The above process was over two full months.
