i've used rb queern for 25 years. when i bought my house the furnace didn't work right and it was 3 years old. i went thru a ton of heating co. rb queern is the only co. to use if u want to be problem free.
Reached out to RB Queern to quote a multiple unit mini-split system for our home soon after we moved in. Had reached out to them as they're tags were on our two furnaces. Ron Bowler stated that they would not bother quoting us unless we agreed in advance to go with them for the install. He stated they would be the highest quote and if we were "shopping around" he didn't want to waste his time. Condescending conversation overall. Needless to say, we stayed away and I would suggest the same to others. Thanks, Ron, for showing us the light.
First experience with Queern. Danielle is terrific with scheduling and follow-up. Despite being down one worker, the team fit our Winter Service in on the same day as scheduled.
Just got off the phone with these guys, and if I could rate their customer service as a 0 star, I would.
Background- We just bought this house from the prior owners in March of 2013. In 2008, the prior owners had spent over $7K on a whole new heating system (burner, indirect water heater, etc) for this house. Upon our inspection in March, everything was great. Around the end of April, we noticed that the 7 year old indirect water heater by Weil McLain had water around the bottom. We called the company, and the woman was really nice and said they'd send a service representative over to look at the unit. They did, completely replacing a leaky elbow running to the boiler, as well as drilling holes in the bottom of the unit to see if the excess water in the insulation between the tanks would leak out and eventually dry out. This first part was fine, the tech was nice, and only charged us for one part, saying that the maintenance would be covered under their life-time guarantee for service and labor.
After a month of trying to see if it would dry out, the water heater is still leaking. I called last Friday saying we would like to see if we could replace the water heater under the life time warrantee provided by Weil- McLain. The woman (again, nice) said she'd process the paper work and call back by Wednesday with status. Today, I receive a phone call from some guy saying that the warrantee doesn't apply to me because I'm not the first owner. While I can understand he can only do so much due to the warrantee on the unit being defined by the company and not his business, I asked him to push back, especially since this was only 7 years old and indirect water heaters are supposed to last 20 to 30 years. I said if he was not able to talk to the company to try and push for some deal with the facts as they were, especially considering the money the prior owners spent, we would have to find another company to help us. His reply was to quickly cut me off with "I'll delete your account" and hung up on me.
Clearly, their regard for servicing their customers that have spent a lot of money with them on products that they install and supposedly serviced and "cared for" was worth naught. My family and I will never be using them in any future endeavors, and we will be taking our business to a company that actually wants to try to work with us.
Chris did a extremely thorough and extensive service on my heating system. Additionally a very nice fellow. Totally pleased and highly recommend R.B. Queern & Company.
I had an emergency with my furnace. I called Queerns and they came an hour later and worked on my furnace. The technicians were very professional and I was thrilled they solve my problem in such a quick fashion.
R.B. Queern is my "Go To" company for HVAC service. Chelsea and the head office are extremely responsible and proactive when it comes to understanding their customers needs and being able to juggle multiple calls and tasks. Whether it is a hot summer day or a frigid winter night, Richard Queern's men, with direction from the main office are extremely responsive in getting the equipment on the properties we manage, back up and running with professionalism and efficiency.
I have been a customer of R.B. Queern since 2009. They can always be counted on for getting the job done and getting the job done right. I don't have the time or money to waste on the others other there that don't compare to R.B. Queern. Save yourself the aggravation and just call them!
i've been working with RBQ for many years. Its a great bunch. Quality work, knowledgeable. Family owned business with a great track record in the community.
The salesman tried to sell me something I didn't ask for. When I told him I wanted what I asked for, he took it as offensive and hung up on me. Thought I was doing a local business good by calling and requesting their expertise. No, there expertise is selling you what you don't want, probably because the cant do mini splits. Who the heck wants a dusted AC these days?
