Hire this company! They do amazing work. They just did a huge, dirty job for me.Josh and his team took out my 60 yr. old oil furnace/boiler which held my hot water tank too, and the oil holding tank. Then they brought in the new gas furnace and water heater, matched up the duct work and plumbing, hooked up a new thermostat, and installed the air conditioner outside. And they did this all in one day. And thoroughly cleaned up the work site. And before any of this could take place I have to thank John too. He came and looked and measured and gave me 4 options to choose from to meet my needs and budget. Outstanding.

We have used West Allis Heating and A/C before and found them to be honest and reliable. That's why when we needed someone to check out the furnace in our new home we didn't hesitate to call them. They came out on time and actually replaced a part that could have stopped working at any time. We then found out our furnace was 16 years old and we felt it was time to replace it. Tyler came out and explained our options without being pushy. We decided then and there to have it replaced. Tyler let us know the prices would go up in January by 12-20% so we got it on order and had it replaced in January. They showed up at exactly 8am and were done by noon. They disposed of the old metal and swept up after themselves. You wouldn't even know anyone had been there. They carefully explained the paperwork and I never felt rushed. The furnace has been running quietly and keeping us comfortable. I have no hesitation recommending them. It's not easy to find a business you know you can trust.

I was scheduled for service for my air conditioner between 8-noon on Monday. At noon, I received a call from the scheduler saying she just realized my air conditioner was on the roof. They did not have a technician on staff that day to do the job. I came back from visiting my daughter in Chicago for this company to do the work. I also say around for 4 hours for nothing. And, I love be in a condo so the management company and maintenance tech for the building were also inconvenienced. The appointment was re-scheduled for the next day. Again, everyone waited for 2 hours. Then, I had to call the company and ask why the technician did not show up. I was told he was delayed. Then I was told I, and the management company and maintenance guy for my building had to wait til whenever for the tech to come today. I found another company and cancelled my appointment with West Allis Heating and Air. I've used them for 40 years. I know the labor market is tight. It is sad that such a reputable company performs so poorly now.

Worked with West Allis Heating & AC to diagnose an existing AC unit which failed to run at the start of May 2022. They were friendly and flexible with scheduling my service appointment. Additionally, the technician (Joe) who came out to diagnose the issue was on-time, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. He was honest and transparent about the issues and aging condition of my AC unit. Unfortunately, my repairs would have been costly and possibly only a temporary fix, so I ended up going with installing a new unit. Not exactly how I wanted this visit to go, but I felt very comfortable with Joe’s level of knowledge and straight-forward approach, that I was going to get exactly what I needed and there was absolutely no fuss or overselling that you sometimes worry about in these types of major purchase situations. Joe recommended the right sized new AC unit, as my previous unit was a bit oversized for my home and he was able to schedule the installation within a week. I thought a week was an extremely reasonable time frame given all the scheduling issues which have occurred over the past few years with access to products or availability of technicians. What was even better, was the call I got the next day letting me know that there was a cancellation and my install could get squeezed in even sooner. The great time management and communication really exceeded my expectations. On installation day, the installing technicians: Tim and Trystan were very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.The installation was done with precision and in a timely manner, taking a little under 4 hours. I also greatly appreciated that any dirt or debris from the installation was cleaned up. While Trystan finished up the install, Tim took extra time to show me the “basics” of how the new control panel worked and let me know that the product registration for warranty coverage would be taken care of for me. John Selby who sold me the new AC/Furnace and added duct to run more air upstairs was awesome! 5 stars for his knowledge, expertise and customer service. The initial all day installation for my new AC unit and Furnace as well as new duct work to aid in more air going upstairs went very smoothly and I'm grateful for all the hard work done! The furnace worked wonderfully but when I needed to first use the AC unit yesterday it didn't start. A wonderfully efficient, thorough and professional technician Kyle Wilhelm came the same day I called and found no power going to condensing unit as the disconnect pullout was in the off position. He promptly identified and handled the issue and mentioned he would report that is was very difficult to install the disconnect and see if an electrician needed to come back at some point. He also checked the coolant levels in the AC unit and stayed with me an extra 5 min to verify after turning the AC off that it would turn back on again which it did. It has been working wonderfully ever since. I give Kyle 5 stars for his customer service and genuine caring to achieve 100% satisfaction. I only knocked off one star from my review since the disconnect issue should have been checked and addressed by the installers. Thank you again for a great product and great technician service! Kyle is awesome! :)

Tory came out today for our annual AC System maintenance and did a wonderful job. In fact he is the best tech we have ever had come to our house to work on our A/C. If you use West Allis H&A I highly reccomend Tory. They really should give him a raise as on a scale of 1-10 Tory ranks an 11.

We had West Allis H&AC come out last year to put in an attic-based central air system. We absolutely loved the system but we were always a bit disappointed with the performance in our master bedroom. After some back and forth, they replaced the 6" feed with an 8" feed due to the size of the room, and things still weren't quite right. They sent a tech by the name of Kyle out, and he found that the vent wasn't zip-tied properly onto the air handler, and that the baffle on that vent was completely closed. He also inspected all of the other feeds and tightened things down and taped them. The system now works as expected. Yes, it took a year to get to this point, but they haven't charged me 1-cent above the initial install fees for all of this, and I will recommend them to anyone. They also did our boiler replacement and that install was done professionally and incredibly clean.

Called them Monday and was told Wednesday but received another call a few hours later told Tomorrow what service! Well after West Allis Heating and cooling came over my draughter & son in-law were told I needed around twelve hundred dollars in work done!!!.... I was charged $107 dollars for the service call which he the service guy never mentioned if it was going to run or not! Well when I was told what was going on I asked my daughter if it was working and she mentioned they had not tried it or were even told it was working or not!!!..... So I turned the thermostat up to our highest temperature and bingo it started blowing heat back out which we hadn't had for days!!!... So I also started shopping around for prices and labor but now in almost five weeks it continues to run great! I will be putting some extra money away though for when it does go! If this guy new what he was doing in the first place.

Don’t understand how somebody on the phone can tell me their will be a technician coming out when I call but then to be told because I’m not an existing costumer that they won’t make sure our furnace is working in the middle of winter that’s what the technician says. Why tell me somebody will come out. What’s the point of that? But somebody can come out in the morning after we’ve all frozen to death. Cool story.
