Called Gold Star HVACR to repair my AC. They were able to come out same day during the busy season and was able to get me replacement parts installed the very next day. Very pleased with their service.

Willy is definitely in the wrong business, he should be a professor teaching other HVAC repair servicemen. I'm glad to have Willy installing a new furnace and teaching me everything that is wrong with a Wisconsin home. You are the best in your field of work, Mr.Willy. Thank you.

Willie (Gold Star HVACR owner) is a very knowledgeable HVAC professional. Our furnace stopped working and Willie was able to fix it same day and give us amazing information about how to increase the performance of our HVAC system. We will be using him for all future service calls.

My experience with Gold Star so far has featured individualized service tailored to my needs and the specific characteristics of my house. Gold Star assumes a whole-house approach and is not narrowly focused on selling particular products or services, which I appreciate. I also appreciate Gold Star's responsiveness on short notice. Finally, Gold Star puts in the time necessary to make sure systems are working and appliances are properly installed and maintained, yet bills remain low relative to the larger, more industrial HVAC firms.

Willie knows his way around all components of a furnace and does a through job. He goes above and beyond by fixing things that are outside the scope of what he was contracted for like caulking leaky ducts. He has helped me out on a number of occasions.

Gold Star came to inspect a furnace and air conditioner on a condo I was purchasing. Will use him again for any future repairs or if I need new equipment.

Really appreciate my heat working on a COLD day. Very impressed with the quick response to my call of freezing distress, and the great job. Happy to be warm again. Thank you!

Willie was excellent ! I would highly recommend him to anyone needing HVACR service! He is extremely knowledgeable and friendly; he walked me through what he saw and explained what the situation was and why it mattered. He ended up needing a little extra materials and didn’t charge more. Excellent and cost-friendly service and my home is toasty warm!

Our heater and AC are in tight, attic quarters in an old building; other services in-town refused to even visit, but Willie stopped over and solved my leak in less than an hour... thanks!

This guy tells it like it is! If there's a problem, he'll diagnose it. If there's an easy solution, he'll tell you. If not, he'll figure something out. If it's fixable, he'll fix it correctly, the first time, for a reasonable price. Highly recommended!

The contractor was very unprofessional. He yelled and swore at me on the phone, during a conversation about the timelines for the furnace equipment order. He did not have a clear understanding of the process between American Home Shield and himself, and repeatedly pointed blame at AHS saying that I was "their customer, not his" and therefore all concerns and questions should go to AHS. (I had an explicit conversation with AHS where they assured me that is NOT the process) The conversation got so bad, that I had to hang up. Being in customer service myself, I tried very hard to have a rational conversation with him. After I calmly told him his customer service skills - his demeanor and his tone, his swearing, were unacceptable, he became belligerent. After this conversation, he completely cancelled the entire service request with no communication to me. After 2 weeks of Wisconsin winter, I'm STILL without a furnace, and am now going through the entire process again with AHS and a new contractor they've assigned. I would not recommend this contractor, nor would I feel comfortable with anyone who manages their emotions so poorly being in my home, as I would be afraid they might become violent if I said something they didn't like. Unacceptable behavior from a business owner who wants to stay in business. There is literally no excuse for yelling and swearing at someone you're providing a service for. p.s. reading the other reviews, looks like this is a pattern for Willie Mallard.

This is really knowledgeable and professional company. I was doing mini splits throughout the house and was lucky to pick this company. Will be having them for my next projects.

Willie installed a whole home humidifier for us and was kind enough to point out some issues with our newly installed HVACR system from a bug company in town that didn’t have much attention to detail to help us save on some costs. Willie is wonderful, very prompt, does great work, goes over everything, is efficient and did everything at the best price I could find in town. Very kind gentleman and even checked in a few days later to make sure everything was working to our liking. 5/5 stars!!!

Our home warranty sent Willie out on Christmas Day to fix our furnace. He was prompt, professional, fixed not only the issue but had suggestions to make the system more efficient (which did, it runs less often now and heats better). He also fixed the issue faster than the previous company took to 'mask' and 'band-aid' the issue. Very pleased. We have already referred Willie to neighbors. It's great to have a company we can trust!

Completely unprofessional. I spoke with a man who actually swore at me and yelled at me because I wasn’t patient enough to wait for his callback. I’m sitting here with no heat and I called him three times leaving one voicemail never getting a response until 40 minutes later. Do not use the service! The owner just called me back screaming at me swearing and using homophobic comments. Completely unprofessional.

Excellent service, tech went above and beyond to fix our 90 year old boiler. Very knowledgeable and resourceful, he found the needed part that was in West Virginia and got it here fast knowing our house was getting colder by the hour. Exceeded our expectations, very fairly priced as well. Even sent us a follow up text just to make sure that we were comfortable. Also advised us on how improve our existing system. Highly recommended.

Gold Star Willy Mallard was very prompt with his work response. He worked very efficiently and thoroughly, and explained what he was replacing before doing so. He cleaned up the work area, leaving the space as he found it. I highly recommend him.
