I had an excellent experience with service technicians Avery and Alvin. They took their time to explain my furnace to me and their work in it. I have full confidence my furnace will keep me warm this winter. I would greatly recommend General Heating. And, of course I will call on General Heating again for any future needs. We're delighted with General Heating & Air Conditioning service. This year Avery did an amazing job cleaning both the A/C & furnace, replacing the filters. He was prompt, courteous, knowledgable, and friendly.

Great, responsive customer service from the moment I called the service line to when the technician, Avery, completed his work. Highly recommend! On top of the impeccable service, Avery recommended an in-house (Hooper) plumbing service to aid in a separate issue.
Avery did a fantastic job in checking the hearing and cooling on my furnace. He cleaned the coils on the condensing unit, cleaned the condensate trap and put everything back together. He had the latest tools to check my cooling capacity and I am very pleased with his work.
Avery from General Heating came to do a maintenance check on a Carrier Infinity system, both furnace and AC, that was installed two years ago. We have had no problems with the system. He was personable, willing to describe what he was doing, advise me on routine filter change and water panel change that I could do myself and inspired confidence in his ability and the quality of our HVAC system.
My appointment was scheduled between 10 and 12 this monring. Avery called a few minutes before 10 Am to confirm his arrival time. Avery was very professional and explained the work that he performed. I am very happy with General.
Between my grandfather and myself, we have relied on General for all our heating and a/c for 30+ years. Always reliable and trustworthy.. Don't call anyone else! Update: Two years later and they're still the best.
General Heating has installed, serviced and maintained the HVAC systems for over 15 years. Office staff is always ready to answer questions. The technicians are courteous, friendly and knowledgeable. General Heating replaced the furnace and air conditioner units 10 years ago and with the annual maintenance provided I am confident that I will never be without a conditioned house.
Love these guys! Prompt, professional, clean (they wear booties for carpet and masks for pandemic), and courteous! Avery was great!!! He was happy to answer all my questions and share his expertise with me. I’m not using anyone else going forward!
I placed an emergency call for an AC repair on the hottest day of the summer so far. Nick arrived in the early morning and had my air conditioner up and running within an hour. He was extremely professional and took the time to explain to me what he replaced. Very positive experience.
Robert and Drew were great, new furnace in quickly, they cleaned everything up, explained it all to me clearly, and seemed to enjoy working together. I would recommend General Heating and Air Conditioning and recommend asking for Robert and Drew to do the work. Kate Dustin was hear today to get my furnace ready for winter. Showed up on time(no call to say he was coming), was very courteous, respectful, cleaned up. I give him 5stars! Kate
We had our annual HVAC checkup today, June 9, 2021. Avery was the technician, and was very friendly and professional. He was on time as scheduled and completed the service in an efficient manner. We have been customers of General Heating over 47 years and have always received excellent service. This time was no exception.
I can easily recommend General Heating & Air Conditioning Inc with no hesitation. They installed my furnace and air-conditioning in 2016, and have been my go to for regular maintenance and any questions. They are knowledgeable, skilled, have never tried to up-sell me, and are simply nice people. I appreciate the coupon I'll receive for leaving this review, but think highly enough of this company that I would have done it anyway!
It has been frustrating as our hearing system seems to keep failing in us. I think this was the 3-4 time we have had people GH&C out recently. Luckily, we had the most caring an compassionate technician ever. It’s so nice to deal with such a frustrating problem with such a kind person.

Don quickly evaluated the issue we were having when our furnace stopped working with sub zero temps outside. Don was transparent when describing the potential problem and costs to fix it. He went out of his way to the get part we needed and got us back up and running within an hour. Our experience with General Hearting was pleasant and professional to boot and we will use thenm exclusively for any HVAC needs in the future.
My furnace went out this morning (January in WI) and General Heating & AC was extremely responsive and sent a technician out right away. After an initial look, I decided it was in our best interest to get a new furnace. Within just a few hours, I had a brand new furnace installed. Thank you so much General Heating & AC!
