We selected Go-Green to install a new heat pump using our existing ducts. We obtained multiple quotes from different companies - Go Green's was competitive, and we are so happy we decided to go with Go Green (thank you Ryan!). Every step of the way they were thoughtful, answered our questions, were super accommodating, and the system they installed (Mitsubishi Hyper Heat) we couldn't be happier with. The install team also went above and beyond to do a thorough install.
We have a townhome that we bought as a new construction that's now 7 years old and hadn't bothered with any maintenance of our split pump AC up until this point. We've noticed the system getting worse over time and finally decided to seek professional assistance and call Go Green. Our service technician Juan Parades, who was extremely friendly and helpful, was able to succinctly highlight and summarize a number of problems with our setup and performed years of maintenance in the course of an afternoon. The results are immediately obvious; our system runs way more quietly and within 30 minutes got a problematic room down from the 70s to the high 67 degrees. Phenomenal results. I couldn't recommend Go Green highly enough and we'll be using their company for all of our future AC and heating needs. Thanks Juan and Go Green for the great service!
We couldn’t be happier with the service we received from Go green heating and A/C. They installed the system a year ago, right at the tail end of the pandemic with all the supply chain issues, but Mark worked with us to ensure we get the unit we wanted and fits the spec for our location. Installation was smooth and the system has been working great. A year later they provided a scheduled maintenance - Joan the tech was very professional and friendly. He did a great job and took care to leave the area spotless when he was done. Happy to have picked this company!
Recommend!! Very good guys with expertise🙌🏻
We had this company install a new furnace in 2021. I had asked about adding a vent to our bedroom and the sales guy of course said no problem. When it came time to install it, they ended up putting in a giant pipe through our bedroom closet and adding a floor vent to the top of the wall next to our closet. It looks terrible and the whole system is so loud we turn the heat down super low so it doesn’t turn on while we’re sleeping at all. I’m super unhappy with it and am now trying to find someone who can undo this mess of tubes and vent. I wish they had said it’s not possible or explain what they were doing before it was too late.
Best in the business as far as I'm concerned. After a series of bad experiences with other contractors, Go Green was ready to help me make things right with my HVAC system and really went out of their way to provide excellent service. Extra thanks to the tech, Jesse, who did great with helping me understand the work that needed to be done and making sure I had working heat during a very cold time.
There are a lot of reasons we're not satisfied with our experience with go green. To be fair we did reach out to 5 other 4-5 star companies with quotes and each one, other than go green, offered a service where after the initial quote and proceeding to chose their company, we were told someone would come by and review exactly where units would go and finalize details. Go green did not to this with us and I think it would have solved a lot of our issues. Cons - asking us to install early and failing to let us know until 2 days of work was done that we needed to wait a vague amount of time for the heat pump to show up. i only got a confirmed day after my second check-in which included a complaint. just let us know before hand - ask if its okay to install despite the pump being delayed. give us time frames. - after telling them we wanted to conceal the main heat pump on the side of the house they chose a location we can see it easily from our living room window. didn't ask for consultation. didnt let us know how large the unit would be - the brackets installed to the outdoor unit (twice) rattled our windows. waiting for them to change it now. -little communication between the install team and the demolition team. no one could tell us when they would arrive, and then they showed up right after they finished all but the heat pump...so we had to turn them away because we didnt want to go without heat for an unknown number of days. and then no one could confirm the next time would showed up in advanced. -miscommunication and we are still waiting for wifi connection to the indoor units. - I felt the indoor baseboard units were put in as to what was easiest for them. what they work on for 3 days, we live with for years. they said they didnt actually install units close to the floor (despite the manufacturer listing the possibility to be placed low) because they lacked the ability to cut into existing baseboards exactly. they didnt want to mess with our outlets or move
Jesse and Mike did a fantastic job repairing refrigerant leaks in the HVAC system. They were extremely friendly, helpful, professional, and communicative in the process. They even went above and beyond to improve other aspects of the HVAC system to ensure success and peace of mind in the long run. I am more than satisfied with the amazing work they do.
The team at Go Green was great. They were on time, considerate, and worked through some unforeseen pipe connection issues without any problems.
We have been so happy with our heat pump/ac install. So cool in summer, now keeps house so cozy in winter. The team was so professional, in and out with very little disruption to living in house at the time. Their suggestion for additional ducts where needed in an old bungalow were spot on. Thank you Team!
I am very pleased with the work Go Green did for me in installing a wall heat/AC unit. They were prompt, the employees were courteous and I did not have to wait long for an appt. to have the work done.
Working with Go Green was very smooth. Highly recommended.
Our experience was a bit mixed but overall positive. We are very happy with our new Mitsubishi Split-Type Air Conditioner. The technicians who installed it were highly skilled and informed and great to work with. Thanks to Kyle and Abel. The salesperson Ryan helped us select a system that works in our not so typical house. We are pleased with what he helped us select. However, when the electric subcontractor chosen by Go Green came to our house, he said we needed to expand our panel. GoGreen didn't tell us that, so we were stuck with an additional $4000 cost. Surprise! Okay, these things happen. However, neither GoGreen nor the electricians seemed to know how we were going to get approval for the swap from Seattle City Light. After weeks of waiting, 24/7 Electric stepped in and helped us do the necessary paperwork for SCL, which didn't require a big fee since we weren't increasing the power on our 200 amp panel. Lesson: make sure that everyone is clear ahead of time about whether the panel needs more amps or space. If we'd done that and gotten a bit more help along the way from GoGreen, I'd have given then a higher rating. It's busy times so I understand these things happen.
We contacted them in spring of 2022 in order to get an estimate on a split system install for our living room and bedroom in our condo. The estimate was very good, and we went ahead with it. They came out, did some measurements, consulted on where we wanted things positioned, and said they could make it happen. And then they made it happen. Installation took a day, and when it was done we were good to go!
I originally gave Go Green a five star review. After their initial visit, I asked for a quote to repair, or replace my furnace. I never heard back from them, even though I called the company at least four times. On each call, I was told they would contact me. Nothing.
After literally spending 2 years over the pandemic trying to find an HVAC contractor to show up at our 3 story townhouse, give us an actionable estimate, and complete the work to install a mini-split system to cool our hothouse down, Go-Green did all of this, this summer, exactly when they said they'd do it, with the equipment they quoted for us, at exactly the price they said they could get for us (which was quite reasonable for what we wanted). Go-Green runs a tight ship. They communicate very well with their customers, taking whatever time is needed to both do the job to the customer's spec as well as explain how to use and maintain the installed equipment. ALL of the people we worked with at Go-Green were customer-first, friendly, confident, and honest with us about the work and how they were going to go about it. The system they installed is AMAZING, and is a game-changer for us -- worth every penny. Check the photos -- the units look tiny, but they are both MIGHTY and QUIET. The install could not have been done more properly than it was, and with zero compaints from their awesome installers who had to climb to ridiculous heights both inside our house to get the job done.
The Technicians worked diligently to install the system in the most efficient way while keeping the duct work out of site as much as possible. I am thrilled with my purchase.
The technicans were able to troubleshoot and install all issues in a timely manner to complete the install. They didn't stop until everything was correct and functional.
Go Green has been awesome!! We had our A/C and heating done back in November of 2021 and noticed this summer that it was making a weird noise. They sent out Jesse who promptly located the issue and planned to solve it. The unit had been leaking refrigerant and not only did he too it off once, but once he was scheduled to come back for the final fix, he topped it off again before coming out to make sure we’d make it through July’s heat wave. Jesse was so professional and helpful, and made the issue go away quickly! We definitely recommend Go Green and specifically Jesse!
Professional and efficient, we're very happy with our new heat pump
