Do not contact Millies HVAC service to resolve your heating system problems. They will misdiagnose your issue and not even provide you with a quote in a timely manner! Take your money elsewhere! I had a heating system issue at my home and contacted Millies HVAC on New Year's Eve to diagnose the issue and provide me a quote for the repair the day of service. They were kind enough to send a technician on January 2nd and luckily it was a warm week for January, so I wasn't in much of a rush. Millies HVAC mentioned that I should expect a surcharge of approximately $60 for a technician's visit that would also go towards the repair of my heating system. This isn't a problem because it is how many services operate. The technicians initially misdiagnosed my system by informing me that both of my control boards had to be replaced ($$$). The technician then mentioned later on that my electric heat kit was faulty ($$$) and that my control boards were actually fine. I found this odd because the only heat that was originating from my house was due to auxiliary heat - and not the heat pump. The auxiliary heat and the emergency heat originate from the same source and I knew that wasn't the problem because the emergency heat function in our house also worked. The technician mentioned that he would provide me a quote within a few hours after leaving. Upon reaching out to him later in the day, he mentioned that his supplier was closed due to the observed holiday and would provide me with the quote the following morning. I recognized this issue and knew that it wasn't a problem. The next day still goes by without a response from the technician. Then on January 4th at noon I contacted Millies HVAC over the phone and requested the quote. The supervisor told me that he would email me the quote the following morning because he was going to go out for lunch! I ended up replacing the capacitor the following day of my unit and it resolved all fault messages and error codes and my heatin

Got my furnace repaired from them. They gave me upfront pricing, came when they said they would. Hassle-free experience. I am pleased with their service.

My AC was not cooling the house. Contacted Service doctors, AKA Millie's HVAC in 062021. They recommend to replace my HVAC and furnace but did not recommend replacement of evaporator coil. In 2022, start of summer season, AC was not cooling the house again. The unit had no freon indicating leak that was left undiagnosed. For 2 visits they filled with unit with Freon and eventually on 3rd visit told me I needed the evaporator coil replaced. They did not show up one appointment and delayed another appointment at last minute. Unfortunately, they misdiagnosed and I was changed with an additional amount to pay for evaporator coil. Poor service by acting manager, Kamal who refused to bring this issue up to owner and stated I can only speak to him. Of note, the technician notified the owner at time of leak who did not pay much attention to what the technician was saying, indicating they made a mistake by not replacing the evaporator coil. Would not use this company again as they lack to take responsibilities, not showing up/delaying appointment, poor diagnostic assessments, lack of professional behavior by acting manager and owner does not want to be involved when there is an issue.

I really have two reviews, one for the service aspect of the work and another for the backoffice work. 1.) First for the replacement of my furnace due to a cracked heat exchange. The initial contact with Charles was very positive, he was responsive and professional. Was able to diagnose the problem quickly and work up a quote. There was also an issue of what equipment (furnaces) were available and he helped us through that selection for a next day installation. The installation team showed up on time and the work performed was very good. Due to COVID and my Father-in-laws Leukemia I had asked the installation team to wear their masks the entire time, which they mostly did. The cost of the installation was roughly $3,900 after taxes for a 96% 80,000 BTU unit. 2.) The backoffice charged me a 50% deposit and then the remainder on the installation day. A month later I was again charged for another $1,974. I called the backoffice and the office manager Kamal Sharma spoke with me and indicated that a "new" backoffice person made a mistake. He indicated that they would refund in 7-10 days, but that the bank would hold it up for 30 days. I approved of a refund, and then called the next day to confirm as well as get a receipt. Mr. Sharma was very unpleasant and said I just had to wait. I don't agree that and confirmed with Chase (the card I used) that he could have processed the receipt immediately. Here it is 1 week later to the day I notified them (Feb 14, 2022) and I still don't have a credit back from the company. They did send a refund receipt on Feb 18th, 2022. Overall, I won't go back to this company again. The backoffice made a mistake and I had the burden of an additional $2K on my credit card. Not acceptable and should have been resolved in a more friendly manner in my opinion.

They gave me the same bologna they gave someone else that my technician is on an emergency and can't come today like they promised. I have to go another day in 95 degree heat without air conditioning. They say 24 hours a day 365 days a year on their invoice. I guess that is except when your technician is busy with someone else. They didn't even bother to call to tell me they could not come as promised. I had to call them. I will not be using this company again.

They told us we had a refrigerate leak and I would have to replace both units. We replaced both units earlier in July, we are in August and I've had to call them back twice because my units randomly stop cooling the house. They are definitely not a 24/7 service as they schedule me for next day instead of getting me a tech same day. I wish I would have shopped around before going with them.

The installers came on time and were very professional. They performed their job quickly and efficiently. I called Millie's HVAV at 7:25am in the morning. They sent me an estimate in less than an hour and completed the installation the same day. I would hire this firm again.

Millies cancelled an emergency appointment (that was scheduled 5 hours earlier) right at the end of the day leaving two elderly people with health issues in oppressive heat. Millies said their technician had an emergency but this was after I had already spoken directly with another technician earlier in the day who told me he didn’t have the right equipment (a ladder). Don’t commit to a job and fail to keep the appointment. We could’ve and should have gone with a different company. Do not rely on Millies in an emergency situation.

I am very impressed with Millie's HVAC! Millie's HVAC scheduled the appointment quickly. Prior to Millies HVAC, I had another company look at the unit. The other company sent young techs who didn't want to put their hands on the unit or try to fix it and were quick to recommend a unit replacement. I was sick about it because of the expense. Millie's HVAC technician Wilson L. kindly listened to me, asked great questions, clearly understood the AC problem before jumping in, and was able to fix it. I'm now a loyal Millie's HVAC customer. Thanks!

I have waited two years to write this review just to be on the safe side. My experience with Alan and Amit was really positive. They were the most straight forward HVAC contractor I have dealt with. Their prices were the best and most competitive but with that you wont a nice van with someone's face on it or get employees in uniforms which is fine because they knew what there doing. Two weeks after the AC was installed, we had a bad thunderstorm and yhe compressor got damaged. They were very responsive and came out fast and replaced it. I highly recommend using them if you are looking for a good value.

I had a three hour appointment window and was advised I’d need to be present for it. There was a pipe actively leaking in my living room which required several buckets to catch the water. I left work and called to make sure my appointment was still set. The person who answered the phone affirmed that it was. No one showed up and no one called to say that a tech would be late. I called 10 minutes before the end of my appointment window, at that point i was advised that the tech could not make the appointment. I did not bother rescheduling and went with a different company- ridiculously poor communication and a waste of time.

HVAC was leaking water so I called Millie’s in August 2019. The tech came out, checked the Freon gauge outside, and visually inspected the inside unit. After a total of 10 minutes on the property he concluded the unit needed to be replaced due to a Freon leak. Total cost $2500. After he left, I googled Freon leak and all articles stated that the root cause should be detected (i.e. identify where the leak was). This was not done. I then called a small local HVAC company for a second opinion and they conclude that there was a clogged pipe, not a leak. He added a cartridge to the inside unit (repaired it) and said I was good to go. Total cost $200. Millie’s called me a week later to follow up on the replacement and close the sale. I told them it was fixed and that I felt the tech didn’t do his job. They insisted I still needed to pay the diagnostic free, which I reluctantly payed. It’s now September 2020 (1 year later) and I am happy to report that I have not had an issue with the HVAC since. If you want an HVAC replacement, maybe these are your guys. If you want your HVAC accurately diagnosed or fixed, I’d look somewhere else. Fabio

Our initial experience with Millies was very positive: our A/C started showing signs of failure, and they were able to come out the same day to look at it. They offered to recharge the refrigerant or that they could install a new complete system as early as the next day. As we knew our system was near its end of life, we agreed, and the next day our new system was put in. That was the last time they were timely or responsive. We had asked for a humidifier to be installed as well - and paid for it. The team that installed the new system didn't know anything about it, and hadn't brought one with them in any case. When we followed up they asked if we could, as a favor, wait until the next month to get it done as they were at the peak of the summer season. We agreed. The appointment arrived, weeks later, and the installer was a no-show. We called, and they asked if we could reschedule. The day came, and they cancelled. All together it took about seven appointments to get our already paid-for humidifier installed, which my wife had to set time aside for to be at home on every occasion. They finally came with the humidifier, and only then realized that it wouldn't fit well into our utility closet. Maybe measure that earlier, hm? So it was delayed some more. The company was never particularly apologetic for any of this. Finally they install another model of, and its a puny little thing, so I look up what we had been charged $300 for: it turns out it retails for $100. So, we were asked to pay $200 for labor (less than one hour for one person) that was supposed to have been done as part of a larger installation (so that it didn't require a separate trip) and was delayed more than half a dozen times. Were they willing to refund even a part of that price? Absolutely not. We ran into issues as well trying to use an online coupon they have: it reads clearly, with no caveats: $200 off with the installation of a complete HVAC system. Well, we got a complete system installed. Wi

My AC stopped working on one of the hottest July days this summer. I called Millies HVAC that morning and had a whole new upgraded system in place before the end of the day. Their team was responsive. GREAT JOB!

We had a great experience with Millie’s. They were the only company willing to come out the same day (it was over 90) and then quickly diagnosed and fixed the unit. They also advised us to clean our units and showed our son how to do it. Before leaving, the repairman took the time to do the cleaning himself. We’ve had no other problems all summer

July 2019 and our 20 yr old A/C gave out. One of those 2 hottest weeks of the summer where it had been upper 90s for days. Anyway, on Thursday I got quotes from a big A/C company and from Home Depot, fine but after taking over an hour each and various people coming out to give me "comfort advising" they both said they couldn't install until Monday - too much business/customers ahead of me with the same problem. I checked the forecast and it was supposed to be right at 100F all weekend. So I searched again for someone to call, had about three places in mind - all like Millie's here and on yelp --> some really good reviews and some bad too. Anyway, one didn't answer and never called back but Millie's answered right away. I was honestly a little skeptical when they said they could get someone out the very next morning to do it and cost was basically the same (Carrier unit, I could tell from the #s that all the proposals were to install the same model/unit). But sure enough the next morning they arrived - earlier than they had said even - and knocked it out very quickly. Quite good techs. They didnt have any Millie's markings on their shirts or van so seemed subcontracted out, but they were good, quick, and got the job done. Were even quite gentle with some plants and fencing around the external unit - which honestly after a couple nights of trying to sleep in the basement with kids and not much luck, I really didnt care about any more. In short, yes I whole-heartedly recommend Millie's.
