Absolutely thrilled with Joshua and Tidewater Pro Air! Called them late yesterday afternoon and he had it fixed this morning. Showed me what was wrong, fixed it, tested the system and is sending me estimates on fixing my odd sized filters. He let me know that he could actually be here ahead of the appointment and was very professional. Tidewater Pro Air will be the company I call from now on!
I worked with the technician Josh for my A/C repair. He was very professional and was willing to talk through everything he was doing while working. I learned a lot about my A/C system and he quickly diagnosed the issue with my unit's contact switch. Extremely knowledgeable and extremely professional. There is definitely a reason these guys are rated the best in the area.
Josh came out when I was my AC was running very loudly and had not been serviced in YEARS. Each step of the way he explained everything and the options we could make at each step so I could make a informed decision. He took and provided pictures of each item he worked on as well as showed me on the machine what the issues were. I really felt that he was looking out for my best interest and giving me all the info I needed and wanted to know. Luckily he way able to repair my unit at a good price and now I am signed up for the yearly maintenance program to ensure this doesn't happen again. Rates were fair. Tech was not pushy like a salesman.
After trying just about every company in Hampton Roads to come evaluate my geothermal units and not getting a single call back, Tidewater Pro Air jumped right on it and was at my property in less than 24 hours, and provided me all the calculations and information I needed within an hour of leaving. Meanwhile, Josh also jumped right on helping figure out what was wrong with my air handler that was keeping the upstairs from getting cooled. Basically, they were able to take care of every HVAC need we had. They are upfront, knowledgeable, skilled, and personable. We need more companies like this in our community! I'm excited to have an HVAC company that I know will be able to care for all our needs in a timely and professional manner!
DO NOT PASS THEM UP. MAKE THEM YOUR FIRST CALL FOR SERVICE. Outstanding service! They respond on the weekend within an hour or so of my call for service. They are courteous, prompt and relentless for finding and solving the problem. Technicians at Tide Water Pro are right people for the job. They are courteous and well versed in all things related to HVAC systems. You can bet your last dollar that I will definitely call Tidewater Pro Air again in the future. Ray
Mike was amazing! Went above and beyond to make sure our HVAC was running at 110%. This meant dealing with cleaning a cloaked cutter where our AC run-off went. It was nearly impossible to clear, but he did it with a smile!
They were very helpful and got us up and running again quickly.
I had an AC unit break down in late spring and decided to take a chance on Tidewater pro air. They definitely earned all five stars of this review - they came out quickly to service the unit, but found that it was broken beyond the point of repair. Different replacement options were presented so I could choose the best fit for my budget/preferences, and they communicated very well and provided easy financing options. The cost of the service appointment was credited toward my replacement (a bit expensive, but you get what you pay for - these guys did the whole system, provided temp AC until the ordered equipment arrived, and have full warranties on their work!). The team worked quickly and left no mess. The technicians are all very friendly and courteous - special shout out to Mike for handling my home from start to finish and being very helpful and up-front. Highly recommend in the Hampton roads area!

I’m SUPER stoked! Josh & his employee Nathaniel replaced my Gas water heater today! They were very professional, and swift! We had another amazing service visit from Michael! We are always so grateful for the team at Tidewater Pro Air for keeping up with our maintenance schedule and reaching out to coordinate our appointments. They never forget to keep me updated on when our services are due. Brandon called me to remind me of our upcoming maintenance needs and set us up with an appointment and Michael arrived on time and answered all of our questions. He showed us pictures of our unit outside and helped troubleshoot an issue with our filter size (old home problems). Just knowing we have a team that cares means the world to us! Prompt, thorough and honest. What more could you ask for?!

I called this company because of the high ratings I found online. They didn't disappoint. I had Joshua at my door 3 hours after my call. He was quite professional and knowledgeable about what may be needed to get my 30 plus year-old central AC back to performing again. In about 20 minutes he had everything working and gave me my options moving forward without undue pressure even though our system is well beyond its expected service life.
Prompt, knowledgeable, courteous. Explained the service they were performing, cleaned up behind themselves & then explained the results of the service.
Not that this team needs another five star, but it’s deserving of the rating. From initial estimate with Josh M., to multiple reworks of equipment to get to the final estimate and final install date, they responded quickly and professionally to all the challenges I imposed. The team that installed, showed up on time, went right to it and knocked out a gas pack, and a second story split in under 8 hours. Craftsmanship is what I expected after speaking with Josh on many calls/texts. This team/company does not disappoint in quality and professionalism. My hats off to them and would recommend to anyone to reach out when in need.
A smooth experience from start to finish. My A/C coil and condensate drain pan needed to be replaced. Tidewater Pro gave me a solid price on the work I needed and explained anything I had questions about before, during, and after the process. They came in on time, every time, and took care of business without any shenanigans. I also decided to have them clean out the dryer vent while they were at it. Friendly and speedy service. Thank you for such a great job.
These guys are the best! They communicated from day 1, let me know when they were on their way, attentive to every last detail, extremely knowledgeable, and so nice! Our indoor and outdoor unit was cleaned with a few things fixed. Our technicians explained everything, documented everything, and were overall fantastic! This is THE #1 choice for HVAC needs.
Michael did my "spring checkup" on my system and was extremely thorough throughout the entire process. I'd have no problem recommending Tidewater Pro air to anyone who's serious about keeping their HVAC system running top notch.
Mike really took the time to ensure my older HVAC system was in as good of condition as possible for this summer season. Mike is awesome at explaining each step of the process. If there is such a thing as having a great experience getting my HVAC serviced, this was it!
