Great actual work on HVAC system—efficient, know their stuff. But they are an organizational mess: I wanted to finance new HVAC system, but in the course of the process they 1) never called to schedule the work with me and just turned up on my doorstep one morning, 2) after verifying with the workers when they finally did come out for the scheduled work that I would receive the billing/financing info to my email, I waited for three weeks and received nothing. 3) At three weeks, I called them up and they told me they had sent the bill three days after the work, and I was like, “maybe you sent it to the wrong email address?”, and then 4) I receive the bill in whole, with nothing about financing. So finally, we get it all straightened out I think—they send the paperwork for financing, I sign it, I get into the credit system with a login—and several weeks later, I get a phone call following up from Midlothian Mechanical telling me that I need to complete the form that they sent to me (Reader: they didn’t email me, it turns out, they emailed my father who is also in their system instead). Overall, I’m just exhausted trying to chase these people down so I can pay them. It’s ridiculous. I’m done.

Great customer service.
I had a terrible experience with this company. They came out to do routine maintenance as well as to check why my a/c wasn’t cooling the house. The technician did not fix the problem and I had to call them to come back out that evening. The second technician was very angry because he said that the first technician had done NOTHING. NOroutine maintenance even. He hadn’t even changed the dirty filter! The first technician had sold me a service plan. The second technician advised me to get my money back for the service plan. When I tried to call the office back they dodged my calls and never would return my money or repair my a/c. I don’t know what’s wrong with this company but I would not recommend them to anyone
5 stars for the techs. 3 stars for office communication. Our AC conked out when it was 95 outside for several days. Patrick came out and diagnosed the problem. He had to come the next day to install a new blower motor, but there was an issue with the new motor that prevented it from working properly. Rather than calling it quits for the night (this was already past 6:30 pm), Patrick really went above and beyond to get our house cool again. He stayed until nearly 9:30 to get a temporary solution in place. The repair wound up taking over three weeks to complete. The most frustrating part was the inconsistent communication from the office. I was initially told a few days for the repair, then a week, then another week, etc... The supply chain issues are real, and I get that. However, I always had to call to find out what was going on. It would be nice to get timely communication from the office regarding what was going on with the repair. Once they did get the parts, Patrick came back out and got everything up and running. He was very professional and thorough.
Freon leaked days after installation. They came back to fix the issue which was a poorly sealed copper pipe they installed initially. Water damage found under house linked to installed unit. The drain was inspected by a different company and they stated that the drain should not have been placed where it was.

I represent an owner of a condo (Forest Oakes) where Midlothian Mechanical installed units for every unit in the building. Before our tenants even moved in we had noticed that two out of the three wall mini split units weren't working properly. We called Midlothian Mechanical to come check on them three times before the warranty expired. Each time they said either that it was working or they would come and fix at a later date. They never fixed it and then disappeared when the warranty ran out. Since then, my client has spent over $2000 in diagnostic checks and repairs. This past month another company found out MidloMech had crossed the wires for the heads. A simple installation error that they couldn't be bothered to diagnose and instead passed the buck.
Grate service
Their workmen will repeatedly litter on your property and have no regard for cleanliness. Thus far I have watched them litter an invoice, a Wawa coffee cup used for tobacco spit, the lid from said cup, boot covers, packaging foam, and a few other sundry items. I'm tired of picking up their trash.
Midlo Mechanical was very responsive from when I first submitted a request on their website to when they arrived at the door on time. Patrick is a very thorough technician and walked me through exactly what was going on with our A/C system. I will use them again and I highly recommend them. Shane P.
My gas service had been shut off due to a detection of a leak somewhere in my house, and had had another company come out to tell me it may cost thousands of dollars plus a terrible mess in my home to get it found and fixed. Midlothian Mechanical came out the next morning, found the leak AND had fixed it in about 6 hours, at a very reasonable cost to me, not to mention not tearing up my walls. Their owner, Kevin Kirsh, and his technician Patrick, were both professional and caring about helping me get this problem addressed in a timely and affordable way. I highly recommend them for any of your heating and air conditioning issues!
The tech came and did some service, charged over $300 and left. He said our humidifier was working correctly. The next morning we found it on the floor. It had fallen from our heater and broken.
Our AC was not cooling so I called them. The woman I spoke with was very courteous and friendly. They were able to come out early the next day. Jeff was terrific. Diagnosed and fixed the problem quickly and was extremely professional. I will definitely use them next time.
Midlothian Mechanical did an awesome job from beginning to end. The customer service they provided to me was phenomenal starting with the initial telephone call. They talk to me on a professional and compassionate level. The owner of the company took the time to explain to me all my different options and his best recommendations, he arranged for a service technician to come to my home within 48 hours. Patrick was the service technician that came to my home. He did an awesome job!! He was very friendly and professional. Patrick explained to me everything he was going to do and why he was doing it. Patrick even took time out, to teach me about certain parts of the AC functions. I highly recommend Midlothian Mechanical to service your AC.

A great company to work with. Starting from making my appointment to the technician who came out and resolved our HVAC issue, I observed great deal of professionalism and excellent customer care. Patrick was a delight to work with. He was very thorough and kept the diagnostics going until he found the actual issue. This was something that our home warranty company failed to notice and was unable to fix. I would highly recommend Patrick as well as Midlothian Mechanical to anyone for their Heating and HVAC needs!
