Plumbing services have definitely increased in cost over the years without me knowing. Replacement of 2 old, leaky, outdoor water spigots. $682

Called The office and sent them some pictures of the model of my boiler and the red lights. They knew what was wrong immediately and sent out an Engineer who fixed my boiler heating issue. Fast Service, Very Knowledgeable Engineer who stuck with it until it was all fixed. Very Reasonable cost Too

The Gundlach crew just left our premises and left us with a top-notch duct system that is miles better than the one they replaced. Joey Lowe at their office was with us every step of the way in answering our questions as they came up. Jose and Hector ran the crew professionally and courteously and did a fantastic job of installing the system - they are very hard and professional workers, especially considering the tight crawlspace they had to work in. We would definitely recommend Gundlach for any HVAC work you need.
Jim Taylor, is an excellent service tech! Gundluch is lucky to have such an outstanding tech! He is punctual, remembers me every time he does the routine service on our HVAC unit. I called Gunlock for my gas furnace issue. Roy came out on December 7th and the first thing he did when he walked into the furnace area was hee -hawed about how challenging it would be to put in a new furnace! (Another company I had called did not mention it being a challenge.) I could see the $ signs going up with every grunt he made! Roy measured the furnace area and then proceeded to the outside A/C unit which would need replacement at the same time. He had his iPad out and tried to pull-up a picture of an outside unit but struggled and wasn't able to. He said he would write up an estimate and email it to me in a couple days. Today is December 20th, and since I still had not received and estimate from him, I called him. He said he has not done it yet and started to give me one excuse after another. Told me that no one has the equipment (the other company made no mention having equipment shortages) Roy said they haven't determined yet what the new price for the equipment will be or the gas line prices! So I told Roy I had heard enough. It seems to me that Roy dragged his feet and did not write up an estimate for 2022 because in 2023 the prices would be going up!! I called the company back to speak with the office manager about my concerns with Roy and the person answering the phone said the manager's name is Gary. I asked for his last name and but the person did not know!! I inquired, you do not know your manager's last name? He said, you don't have to get snippy with me!! I wasn't snippy I was surprised! No thank you, I will not be using this company for anything!
Junior came out to our home; very knowlegeable and was polite and efficient. Located the problem and a work order was placed and we had the work done and completed in a little over a week. Needed parts that were not available, but kept at it and got them in less time than promised. Everything still running fine.
My family has been doing business with Gundlach for years, and today I had a new furnace installed. JOSE and HECTOR were wonderful and got the job done faster than I expected. They were very professional and answered all my questions. They even made sure everything was working properly before they left. Kudos to Gundlach for hiring such great employees! You have a customer for LIFE!
From the initial phone calls (there have been two to date) to paying the bills I have been extremely impressed with the professionalism of the Gundlach employees. They are polite, timely, and....wait for it....they do what needs to be done! Honestly, we've tried other big name plumbing companies in the RVA area but they either ignored us from the onset or they promised something but did not deliver. Gundlach, however, has been the exact opposite. Hubby & I are hoping that we have, indeed, found 'our' plumbers. Thanks, Gundlach!
Gundlach has Provided Five Star Maintenance and Service to Our home for over 25 years. Today, Matt and Pat Provided Five Star Service by Replacing 3 outdoor sillcocks. They let us Know that their was condensation on Some of The ductwork under the house and suggested we might want to have that checked by HVAC technician. We called For service and were happy to see Jim. He checked and cleaned the unit, crawled under the House and Checked the condensation. All is well! Thank you Matt, Pat and Jim!
Plumber came out turned the faucet on and said your faucet needs to be replaced. $489 was the cost. Didn't even look to see if they could fix it first. A friend came over over and tightened the bottom of the faucet nozzle and fixed the issue. Gauging price to just replace and not actually find the issue a d problem.
Gundlach tech Junior promptly assessed the need for replacement & completed the install. He instructed me on how to operate the new one. I was impressed that tho the new thermostat seemed smaller there were no holes in the wall from the previous one & he connected something so that batteries would not be needed.
we have 2 HVAC units that were in our house 21 years & one of them bit the dust, so we decided to change them both. Roy Roane came & we worked it out to change them, the one that was still working was changed a little later. Between Roy & the 2 HVAC techs that came I couldn't have had a better team. Jose & Ray installed the new units In a professional, workmanlike manner. Roy coordinated everything So the jobs went smoothly. Would definitely use them again.Also thanks to Junior & Shawn for their help on the 2nd unit that was installed. This unit was installed on one of the hottest days this summer. We have lived and live in an old house and condo. Over the years Gundlach has done a lot of work for us: HVAC maintenance and repair, cleanout installation, drain unclogs, faucet replacement and repairs, pipe leak repairs, hot water heater installation, toilet flange replacement, water shutoff valve replacement. Every experience has been positive. Every rep we interacted with, either on location or on the phone, has been friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to answer all our questions. And, perhaps most important, every plumbing-crisis-moment, Gundlach dispatched someone to the house in a reasonable amount of time, if not right away. A good company with good people. -------- Thank you Gundlach for taking care of my latest issue - an HVAC pipe that needed new insulation. Junior (and Shawn) did a great job, as always, and thanks for the cooling advice. Joe, thank you for lining things up over the weekend and getting Junior out early Monday morning.
Gundlach's team was responsive, polite, and effective. We will be using them again for any plumbing repairs.
Junior, from Gundlach, came out within an two hours of calling and fixed my HVAC unit within 15 minutes of arriving. It was excellent service and a quick fix.
